I believe you're playing in the not stupid tier. 1-2 is just vicious and one-shot worthy. Play smart and don't rush headlong into danger and you'll likely do fine.
Also, take total defence every round for the entire game.
My advice for Dalsine?
1) Make sure there is someone who can Detect Magic (the more PC's the better)
2) Carry lots of cure potions
3) If your rogue has minor magic, detect magic would be a great spell to have.
4) Don't be the first one to go into any rooms.Good luck!
A few of these are spoilerish.

You asked for advice. You don't *have* to do what I say. So it's not a spoiler.

Actually, Venus, this is the kind of stuff that I was trying to avoid. As is Mergy's "total defense all the time" kinda thing, actually.
Still standing by what I said. You asked for advice, I gave it. Whether it's a spoiler or not is up to you.
A spoiler to me, would be telling you every single encounter. (Which I totally could, but that would be a spoiler.) I'm just telling you things you should already have at the ready and things should know how to handle to begin with. Regardless, as you say to me all the time "your mileage may vary" especially depending on what type of GM you may have.
Good luck!

35 hp decent for a level 4, then again I have never played the Dalsine Affiar (no one running it recently in my area), Still I think you have more hp than my rogue did at that level, just follow the standard rogue like tips, avoid fighting people alone, flank to get sneak attack, ranged weapons are always a good option if your worried about death, oh and have some alchemists fire, there is no reason why a rogue shouldnt have any on them just in case (note I have no idea if there is actually a fight in the scenario where it will be useful but its still a good item to always have).

Wish all scenario's were approached with care, and we could play them without knowing anything. I must admit that I found several of them boring. My wizard just seems to follow along and only half heartily fights. Than BAM walks into to some real scary ones that had me concerned of death. That is the nature of of RPG's I guess.
Guess what Im saying, is that there is no advice I want to give on how to play this one, that I wouldnt want to give for all the rest. Dont play up. Except I know you can play up in about 80% of them and be fine.
Hope this made sense, without coming across as condescending. Need sleep but aint happenin.

"Total defence all the time" was a joke. I was imagining a character running from cover to cover, constantly holding a shield in front of their face. Even during social situations, and especially during the mission briefing.

As for the hiding behind a shield, in another module (God's Market Gamble) I had a Cleric find a table and hide behind it during the final encounter. I though it was hilarious and let him roll with it since I could have easily killed them with the BBEG. As for Dalsine, when I played it, we got lucky and cast the right spell at the right time.

I've been convinced for a while that Drendle Drang is out to kill us all.

I keep wishing I hadn't misplaced that evidence that <name-of-the-week> Dreng was really the Spider...
