Diablo 3 type Witch Doctor in Pathfinder

Homebrew and House Rules

Question, not sure if it should be here or in the conversion section, but has anyone made a Witch Doctor class for Pathfinder somewhat similar to the one in Diablo 3? If not, what would be the best way to do that?

Play a witch. Pick up curse things and animate dead.

Liberty's Edge

I would do a Summoner. Whichever archetype allows you to have lots of summons out at the same time.

Otherwise, the Witch is kinda the go-to for a Witch Doctor.

Summoner is less capable in the realms of confusion and such.

Also: Refluff your spells! Instead of black tentacles, you conjure grasping hands of the dead! :D

You can go a long way with that, if your GM lets you.

I second the refluff suggestion, many many things in game can work mechanically well with just a change of descriptive text.

If the DM is iffy about a change of "fluff" maybe suggest taking a feat as a cost. In 3.5 there was a (meta magic?) feat called something like thematic spell that did exactly what Umbral Reaver is suggesting.

juju oracle from serpents skull, lots of fun and full of flavor. maybe add a dip of master summoner for that swarm effect...
