I was wondering if there were any plans to add to the Two Weapon fighting feat tree to include some of the previous feats from 3.5, such as Oversized Two Weapon Fighting and Improved Two Weapon Defense? These two feats added a lot to my previous character in 3.5, and with the current tree, you seem limited to only pursuing feats to get additional attacks from Improved and Greater Two Weapon fighting, without the other options.
I would appreciate any input.
Thanks,
Jim

You could easily just use them as is in Pathfinder.
The problem is that my GM is opposed to using the 3.5 rules, so he says there was a reason Paizo didn't bring those feats in. If it is only because those particular feats weren't covered by the open gaming licence, then maybe I have an in. If it was due to rules balance, I probably wouldn't.
Anyone from the Paizo side able to comment?
Thanks

Personally, I think your GM is right.
There IS a reason these kinds of things got left out, mainly because there are already way to many feats to choose from.
Things like oversized weapon styles and feats will probably never see the light of day because they are just cheese, milled out for powergamers and DPR counters.

No, they realy aren't. I assure you, not a single powergamer, at least any competent ones, ever took any of those feats at all.
OP, your best bet would probably be going to the ask james jacobs thread to get him to vouch for the whole, "we can't just copy/paste non-core 3E material, it doesn't necessarily mean it's unbalanced" thing.
I would avoid the two weapon defense tree, though. OTWF is alright, TWD line is just plain abysmal.

Other than the two-weapon warrior fighter archetype in the Advanced Player's Guide, most additional options for fighting with two weapons are in Ultimate Combat (appropriately enough): Break Guard, Double Bane (for inquisitors), Net and Trident, Sword and Pistol, Twin Thunders feat chain, and Two-Weapon Feint/Improved Two-Weapon Feint.
Note that two-weapon fighting with a weapon and shield (Shield Proficiency/Improved Shield Bash chain) can be a strong option, even with just the Core Rulebook (Shield Slam, especially, is a very nice feat).

Oversized two weapon fighting is more of a feat-conservation feat than a DPR increase. It means you can use the same one-handed weapon in both hands, and thus only need one set of weapon focus/spec and improved crit.
