We are just shy of the 7k mark and unlocking 20 new creatures for the setting. But these 20 new creatures will be designed and submitted by backers of the Nikobo level and higher, voted on, and then developed both by Jason and Rick.

I just wanted to thank everyone who has backed the Steampunk Musha project on kickstarter. I'm overwhelmed by the positive response it's received and look forward to being able to present the game I've wanted to for a long time. Having control of the art, design, and working with great writing partners I hope to excite you about the setting as much as I've been the last 8 years. New Update talking a bit about the different type of Oni in Steampunk Musha! We are down to 4 DAYS! Keep telling your friends and lets hit all those milestone rewards! Next up is the short story collection!
We keep getting questions about this, so I wanted to clear things up. At 15k our milestone reward is a box set. That means that everyone at the $100 levels and up will get the 3 books, GM screen, character sheets, and map in a old school box set, all prettied up with Rick's art.
We got 4 days to go. We are making this as awesome as we can, check it out, ask questions, let's make this happen!!

I for my part also am annoyed as hell about faulty German or French or Scandinavian name-conventions as well. *cough* Fairy-tale the demonwolf *cough*
I get why you want to keep adhering to the name you've been using.Personally, I understand why mixed name-conventions annoy some people.

Unfortunately, I have not seen many French faulty naming in english products, as I have not seen many at all. Though if you hav a few examples, I could use a good laugh.

A little over 60 hours to go and very close (less than $400) to funding a second adventure for Steampunk Musha. The rewards are fantastic for this kickstarter - and check out the wonderful previews in the updates section...This is shaping up to be one beautiful product and an awesome project!!!

Aaaack! A 64 pages adventure detailing a murky black swamp, a sunken temple and the nearby curfewed town of Linan??? Yes please!!! This sounds excellent, and just what I'm looking for as a departure from victoriental urbanpunk mashup!!! Really excited by rural spirit infested swamps and lost orders of monks...

Just got an email I've been waiting for, Alana Abbott will be picking up her pen and co-writing the adventure with Rick! It's been a long time since these two had a chance to play in the Steampunk Musha setting together!
Moving on the next milestone- GM screen and character sheets!
Posted an update discussing the GM screen and Character portrait pack!
Also, If we meet this goal before Midnight (eastern time). Rick will include a set of character portraits in the character sheet pack for you to use on your character sheet. These portraits will be done in B&W and feature male/female portraits of all the races of Steampunk Musha. But that's only if we hit the goal by tonight!

If you do offer that later; Perhaps verified Nikobo ($100) and higher backers can get it at a discount later?
Chances are if we offer it later, it will be for a different project. Trying to get boxes like that printed at a reasonable cost was a lot of work, and you have to fill a minimum order, etc. So, I doubt we'll have a chance to offer them for SM now. . . but who knows?
