T'was the last day on the job in that company. I am abandoning my position, in secret agreement with the bosses so I could not say goodbye to my coworkers right away. And I enter an hopefully short time of uncertainty till the next job

Not what I would have chosen but a small price to pay to put this part of my professional life in the past

I play martial classes mostly, you'll have to ask one of our fancy-schmancy spellcaster friends for that.

Might give you a +4 to resist gaze attacks, though. But that's more about the eyepatch than the bedazzlement.

I have some bad news. Last night when I got to my friend's for a game....there was a note on his door from his parent stating he is in the hospital. He was having issue for the last month, but we just thought it was stress from work. Apparently though he could not walk on Sat so his Dad took him to the hospital. They did a CAT scan and found something...probably a brain tumor. They are still doing test and we should learn more later.

I am on vacation this week so at least I can be there for him if he needs me. Though...I may go to the Bronx Zoo on Thursday just to get my mind off of it for a little bit.

So...*hugs* to everyone.

P.S. Anybody know what happened with Bob? I saw the posts....but they seem to be gone now...

I understand. Having had a family member commit suicide in 1997, I tend to overreact whenever I think someone is contemplating self-harm. I'm sorry if I caused anyone to worry.
