John I read your fingers or joints hurt and ppl were giving you suggestions, as a mechanic in a past life and on the ranch I live on, we use marvel oil. It's red and is used for penetration into loosing up rusted or locked up joints nuts or bolts on equipment, if you take a bit and rub it into the skin over the joint that hurts it does wonders, but if you do too much you will start to taste cherries all the time so only do it at most once a day.
Other then that I've already reserved my room at the doubletree for next years paizocon, and I saw someone mention they might start a thread in order for all of us to hang out or plan I'm for that 100% please let me know if you do.
For anyone who is on here and gamed with me, I played Clifton, or Weenees at the con.

I guarantee the libertarians that spew hate at you online ate just using the name with no idea what a libertarian really is.I would say that's true about just anyone who uses the terms liberal, conservative, or any of the other labels. I know a lot of Republicans who are just fine with same-sex marriage even though the party platform is against it. They don't believe that it's in the platform even when I show them. They just vote Republican because that's what they've always done. There are similar things with liberals and libertarians.
I think that most people are far more similar when we sit down and just discuss things without using labels.

He definitely lived of to the hype, he was hilarious and charismatic.
Today was in general quite nice, I found out that a bunch of my coworkers are queer as well and had a nice talk- its good to not be alone in queerness.

I'm leaving soon for another appointment for my dizziness. The doctors found something and they want to do another test. They got me scheduled quickly and my test is about 3 hours long. I hope they can figure this out. It's physically and emotionally draining. Yesterday I spent a good portion of my day curled in a ball, holding my head, and literally crying because the pain and dizziness was too much. I couldn't even sit because it took too much effort to do that.
I'm sorry that I have taken too much of your time already with my venting about so many things lately.

Agreed. I have known a few other people that struggled with mystery ailments and seen how hard it is to deal with. Can't think of anything that would stress me out more than not knowing what is tearing me up inside. Vent as much as you need, that's one of the reasons we come here. To support each other in time of need.

I got to meet Neil Degrasse f@!#ing Tyson today at work! My boss got us into an award ceremony where he was getting an award and it was amazing (i might've cried oops)Neil Degrasse Tyson?!!! Whooo! I loved how he did the new Cosmos series. Congrats!
I have to share this...
A friend of mine had his youngest child at 42; the kid is six now. Said friend recently helped his parents move out of his childhood home and into a retirement community, and in the process of cleaning out his parents' attic, he found a large collection of his childhood toys... including a bunch of well-loved Star Wars action figures from the late '70s/early '80s.
He decided to give the action figures to his son, who hasn't actually seen the original Star Wars movies, but had some level of familiarity with the characters. ("R2-D2! Darth Vader! Luke Skyhopper! Gold Robot!") The kid was especially happy with the Lando Calrissian figure, and told his dad that it was "the coolest" and "his favorite TV guy!"
Slightly confused, my friend asked his son what the character's name was.
He held the figure aloft and shouted, "Neil DeGrasse Tyson!"

My daughter and I just came back from our church's first annual interfaith LGBTQ Pride service. It was incredibly moving. We're Presbyterian (PCUSA). Our associate pastor is an out cis gay man (which we knew when we hired him). Other local clergy participated in the service, and there were people from a diverse number of local communities of faith: American Baptist, United Methodist, Congregationalist, Unitarian Universalist, Episcopal, United Church of Christ, AME Zion, Roman Catholic, Conservative Jewish, Reform Jewish, a Muslim community (not sure which one), Tibetan Budhist, Zen Budhist, and Wiccan.
The amount of love I felt in that space moved me to tears...and I don't cry easily.
The experience really gives me hope for the future.

So I just got home from game tonight and realized I left my tablet on the roof of my car. My main access to the internet and other stuff. I am now stuck with this ancient computer. Worst yet I just got back into to the point where I can start saving money to get the women stuff that I need...replacing this will just make it the more delayed.
With everything I feel like...depressed...frustrated...etc. :(

Damn yo! That's why I don't like tablets. Way too easy to forget in places, and I have a history of leaving expensive stuff in places (I nearly left an expensive purse in a changeroom!!! Thankfully some good samaritan gave it to the checkout to look after it)

I did go back and looked...searched the DMs driveway...and drove the same was keeping a eye out. I did not find out. I asked the him to keep a eye out...maybe he can find it in the daylight...but seeing how I have not got a text from him...I doubt it.
There is a outside chance it is in his house...
But it is just the way my life is...sigh
I am probably going have to wait till Christmas to replace it...so I am going have to live without.
