in a future carrion crown campaign. i need help designing a roguish character. i want to be a decent trapfinder, but i don't want to suck at combat.
1st level 25 point buy, 4 traits maximum starting gold. no evil alignments.
allowed books are Core, APG, UM, UC, DSP Psionics Unleashed and ohd planetouched races (aasimaar, tiefling, fetchling, genie kin etc), and familiars/animal companions from bestiaries 1-3.
race/class variants with flavor pertaining to guns, siege weapons and the orient are banned. (Tien humans are fine) as are monstrous or subterranian races (like goblins, orcs, and drow)
the preferred race is a female human (Tian ethnicity) and will be going by the name Akane Saitou.
i also need help tying an appropriate backstory to professor Lorrimor and help on coming up with how not to sexualize this character.
the reason i didn't do it on my real account is because i don't want unwanted attention and wish to start over.
any traits outside the APG need a reference to what book they are from.
in fact, everything needs both a book reference and a page number.
other things include allowing the trapfinding class ability to allow the disabling of haunts with the disable device skill.
there is going to be 8 or 9 PCs, (including myself) 2 of which will be fairly inconsistent.

a likely wizard of some sort
