Favourite 70's cop movie?
But so many of them were SO GOOD! French Connection, Dirty Harry, Bullitt, Electra Glide in Blue, The Seven-Ups... how can I possibly pick just one?
I pick all of them!!!
Favorite kung-fu movie? (The not-entirely-random chain of thought from the last question, btw, is Electra Glide -> Vanishing Point -> Death Proof -> Kill Bill).

For entirely different reasons, I love both Enter the Dragon and The Last Dragon.
Favorite movie about a real-world zillionaire industrialist? (though the movie itself could be embellished or even fictionalized, but to exclude movies about Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark, etc.)
The Betsy. Incredible cast.
Favorite movie where cars are a key part of the plot.

3 way tie - Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T. The Extra-terrestrial, and *batteries not included.
Favorite Alien Invasion Movie.
Edit:
Make that 4 way tie. Just remembered The Abyss.

Hard to pick. I think I laughed the hardest at Knocked Up and Superbad when I saw them, but part of that had to do with the time and place in my life. Looking back, I think my favorite comedy is Blazing Saddles.
As I was driving to work this morning, I realized that in fact my favorite comedy has to be A Christmas Story. No other movie so consistently amuses me and makes me laugh and smile no matter how many times I watch it. I think my brain had just filed it so strongly under "Christmas movie" that it didn't come to mind when I was thinking "comedy movie."

Cradle Will Rock
in which she plays, of all things, a Jewish agent of Mussolini hanging out with David Rockefeller and Diego Rivera, while Orson Welles and Marc Blitzstein run around spreading communism and theater!!
It's a great movie, but unfortunately there's no trailer on youtube.
So, enjoy another awesome Bill Murray clip.
Favorite movie with Bill Murray that isn't any of the above?
(I like Bill Murray)

It's a pity Life on Mars isn't a movie. Gene ("I know what it rhymes with") Hunt had some beautiful tirades.
Would Hugh Grant's repeated imprecation to the universe to, erm, 'engage in carnal activity' throughout the opening of Four Weddings and a Funeral count?
Off Topic, but have you seen Ashes to Ashes? It's the same series (third to fifth seasons I think?) set in the mid-80s with a new main character. It's awesome!

I've seen the first season (which I felt was a bit ropey, and apparently the people in charge at Swedish state telly agreed) but seasons 2 and 3, was never shown here, despite them being rather a lot better from what I understand. Makes me want to get a cool leather jacket, a Manchester accent, some hapless side-kicks and go kick in the door of some TV-executive (possibly ruining some iconic children's television set in the process).

Favorite biopic?
The Blues Brothers, themselves, put out at least two records. They were pretty much a vanity thing and either Akroyd or Belushi said that there wasn't a single one of their songs that came close to the original, but the blues has had to resort to all kinds of tricks to keep itself alive for the last 80 years.
I'm going to say that my favorite Bill Paxton movie is Frailty although I'm not sure it's true. What is true, however, is that I liked this movie a lot.
Favorite serial killer movie?

I dunno, we just had lots of people questions, but there are plenty of animals in movies too, so why not?
Just curious I tend to find animal movies annoying I guess. In spirit of the game.....the monkey from Raiders of the lost Arc.
Can anyone measure up to Harrison Ford at least pre-crystal skull?
Ninja'd. WTH does non-organ-utan simian mean? Can my answer stand?

Pan wrote:Ninja'd. WTH does non-organ-utan simian mean? Can my answer stand?Typo -- a simian (monkey or ape) that isn't an orang-utan (disqualifying Clyde from "Every Which Way But Loose"). So, yes, your answer is good!
Oh I should have figured that out now I feel dumb I even web searched it lol.

Can anyone measure up to Harrison Ford at least pre-crystal skull?
Your question needs clarification. Measure up to what? Acting ability? (Bogart wins!) Height? (John Wayne wins!) Number of major iconic action franchise roles (Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Jack Ryan)? He might win there.
Speaking of action stars, favorite current one?
