The magnificent Transmogrifist

Homebrew and House Rules

So I always wanted a shapeshifting Class without th hippie flowery feel of the Druid, and here´s my take on it.This is not exactly a conversion although I blatantly stole ideas from many 3.5 classes. So oppinions, critique and suggestions are welcome ,playtesting is even more welcome.
If you spot bad formulated sentences, stuff that makes no sense, or grammatical mistakes let me know that too.I´m not english or american or canadian and english is not my mother language and as a result I´m a bit lacking in the semantics department so cut me some slack.
EDIT: Totally forgot to link my THINGY

Great class.... very rules light.

Druids have a hippie flowery feel?

He must not have ever dealt with a Night Elf druid. Hippie flower feel...not!

Have you seen the artwork of the iconic Druid?Doesn´t get more flowery than that.
Also for those that haven´t recognized yet the link is the last Word in the the text ( THINGY).
Yes I´m looking at you Lazar

Have you seen the picture where you see a t-rex fighting a froghemoth? I'm pretty sure that is here.

The iconic druid is a gnome! They're required to be that way or bleach to death. That's a matter of race and personality, not the class. In Faeroun the Druids have an annual gathering where they play out the parts of prey and predator. There's nothing flowery hippy about it either when you see the bones that get left behind.

I did not open this thread to discuss druids so please.

So i love transforming and the druid picture is not flowery at all, pshh

anyways, i've read through it and i think that the DR from Natural armor is too over powered, maybe like half your class level.

"-Bestial Resilience:The Tranmogrifist gains DR equal to twice his Natural Armor Bonus."

"Greater Favoured Shape(Ex):While in your favoured Shape you can now use all Special abilities
of your chosen Form regardless a Polymorph Spell would normally grant them or
not.You can even use Spelllike abilities that a creature of your chosen Form would
have. You also gain all Special Qualities of your chosen Form."

NO SPELL LIKE ABLITIES, no way no how that will totally break the game sooooo much.

i would suggest looking at the :
Master Transmogrifist from complete arcane
War Shaper from complete warrior

and use those to rebuild the class, it feels not very useful.

but keep trying.

Well first of all thanks for the feedback.

The Bestial Resilience Power is only supposed to work with the Nat. Armor Bonus that you get as the Class Feature I hadn´t intended it to incorporate Nat. Armor Bonus that you accumulate from Wildshape or Magic Items so the max DR you can get from this ability is DR 8.I should probably add a Paragraph specifying this.

As for Greater Favoured Shape:
I´m surprised that you Mentioned the 3,5 Master Transmogrifist as this ability is almost 1:1 copied from that Class.I disagree on the Effect of SLA´s.Sure there are some good Options but the stronger stuff is in the SNA´s and the Special Qualities. The only way getting SLA´s could be gamebreaking is if they allow a Character to recreate spells with expensive material Components but I havent found anything that does that, but maybe I should add a paragraph restricting that just in case.
