And we love you! :D
Also, sorry about the false alarm on snarkiness... I should well have considered the maturity of the players involved. I want you to know how much I appreciate your continued efforts to make this game fun. It would not happen without you, and I am honored that you have chosen to be here for so long!

Elinor Knutsdottir |

I'm going to be on the road for the next two weeks (Oregon and Texas). Will have intermittent internet access for sure but I don't know how intermittent. I should be able to keep up, but if you don't hear from me it may be because I've been kidnapped as a sarcastic brit and am being tarred and feathered - so NPC Elinor as required.

Narnel Falerathon |

He was asked to do just that regarding what we learned from our first visit to the City of the Dead. We are contemplating a return. Of course, I am of the opinion that we may want to go in another direction if there are other opportunities.
Congrats, Bryn! Good to have ya back!

Narnel Falerathon |

Me too...I read some good things from the email that GM Sigil sent around. Are we ready to roll? We need to hear our options so that we can decide upon a course of action.

Taedric Starfell |

Haven't heard anything from Sigil since that email, sadly.

Aidan Ayrvar |

I have been itching to play and checking the forum every couple of hours.
Perhaps in the meantime we could compose a list of the leads and adventures we have yet to complete?
For example, discovering what the ghoul-like things in the city of the dead were; and finding out if the dragon a boy on the road mentioned is real or imagined.

Taedric Starfell |

Good luck with the job!
Is anyone else worried that Sigil seems to be missing in action? Were people mean in their emails?

Taedric Starfell |

I was kidding about that, guys. :P

Did you forward my email Nathan? I think I hit the wrong reply button, ie. not reply all.
In case it only went to Nathan, I apologise. I was fairly frank in my email, meaning that my concern is that my many previous games that get to this stage of low posting energy, its not the promises that matter, its everyone following through and posting regularly.
Has anyone pm'ed Sigil?

HAH!!! You were all so mean!!! (jk!)
I got emails from 3 of you... Bryn, Taedric, and Narnel. I got a nice note from Aidan today that had an air of finality to it and well...
Honestly, a little sad and discouraged that I had heard from less than half, and had added "Send final email to group." to my to do list for the day, but had not had the heart to do send it yet. Thanks Bryn for letting me know that things were happening here again.
A few points... I am not sure if Elinor will be back. We were friends before this game and I have not heard from her so I am thinking her travels might have taken her long than she thought. I have not heard from Seneca or Abbas (although it sounds like I missed a note from Abbas).
This is a whodunit and so I have 2 problems.... First we seem to have lost Seneca in the middle of a conversation with Levi (and as much as I hate giving things away, that convo may/or may not have been important. nudge nudge)
Also, I know Bryn needs a recap, but I am somewhat loath to give it as I do not want to over or under stress plot points that are needed to bring this to a conclusion.
Here is the high points: Left Gillamoor having found it overrun with the dead. Returned to Haugins Ear. Illysia suggests returning to Gillamoor for clues, and warning people to seek shelter in town now that the dead plague seems more generally established. Met a group bringing people to safety in town. Met Levi and his bears.
Does any one else want to chime in with details? Lets get things rolling again. Taedric needs to finish his conversation with Levi. I know this is metagaming but... With Seneca MIA can we have another character step in? Aidan has frustrated the man so he is not the best choice. Volunteers?
Aside from that there was some talk about whether you still wanted to go to Gillamoor. Lets do these things simultaneously and wrap them up by the weeks end so we can get going wherever you want to go.
That this is not dead really makes my day! Thanks everyone.

Short version, we're in the middle of no where talking to an insane hermit who is surrounded by possessed dire bears because the creepy lady in the tower told is it might be helpful. In the mean time a plague of zombies continues to pour out of the town we visited and we're thinking we should maybe go back and sort it out. After all, it's only a town, there can't be more than a couple thousand of them.

Taedric Starfell |

And Taedric's trying to tease out important bits from the crazy guy, and those bits are likely related to magic that the cavalier has about 0 understanding of. So, yeah, good times. ;)

She is getting to an age where the whole candles, age and wide eyed looks from the kids needs to be swept under the carpet firmly. Its all made worse by her working in the beauty industry. They are not allowed to grow old.
As for Rasputin, he blinded and cursed the sorcerer, then flew away. The rest of the baddies however made for a tough day's entertainment.
They are 14th level and I only managed to hit the high AC duellist (ACG) once all day. With a shotgun. 1d8 damage!
Cheers

Aidan Ayrvar |

I'm playing an invulnerable barbarian in Reign of Winter, and even though he'll get hit pretty much every round, his damage reduction is so high that he rarely takes any serious damage anyways.
Even from shotguns. xD

Taedric Starfell |

I second the warm wishes and hopes for good luck.

Harlynn P. Quinn |

Well I have been a firefighter, police officer, land surveyor and personal trainer. So I am just going to go live with the in laws and hope that between their community connections I can get a job in one of those, with my jack of all trades background. Work is a bit thin but I have had luck.

Aidan Ayrvar |

Work is very thin here on the east coast. I was lucky to land the job that I have.
I know from work that MASCO contractor services is hiring across the nation as they transition operational models. Might be worth a look.
