Greetings. I put in my applications recently and I hope to enjoy PFO with the rest of those in Seventh Veil when the game is finally released.
I liked the theme of Seventh Veil and hope to discover many new things while exploring and spreading that knowledge around.
I plan on playing two characters. My main will be an Archeologist/Cryptozoologist like rogue. He'll write many journals of his discoveries and I hope at some point we can write books in PFO that can be treated as items/loot and be spread around the game world.
My alt will be a crafter and shop owner. I hope to have his wares spread far and wide.

Thanks for applying, Moridian. We really enjoyed our conversation last night, and are looking forward to having you as part of our community. Your ideas about how to update our web site by incorporating our library-oriented them were really exciting.
And I most definitely share your hope that Goblinworks allows us to build a Great Library :)

Feel free to ignore this humble ambassador, but I thought I might pop in and sell your esteemed organization on a similar exercise as to what has been kicked off in our TEO thread.
The 7th Veil Qualities A-Z game rules: Starting from A and then moving to B, C, D, etc... all the way to Z - members will list one by one traits, qualities, or activities they would like to see expressed by their own organization. The same user should not post twice in a row to consume neighboring letters and try to let some time pass for the less active members and lurkers to jump in as well before posting to the end. The same user can post multiple times, just remember this is not a race to the end and is meant to be fun for as many members who care to participate. Let the game begin! Or not, if that is your choice.

I think I've understood the rules, so I'll kick off:
Adaptable: I believe T7V will, with its fluid approach to the search for knowledge as will be mirrored in its choruses, prove to be quick to change to match the fluctuating situation in the River Kingdoms.
(I also thought about accessible, academic, approachable and articulate. I think we can, and will, be all of these things).

Cohesive: Our focus on specialized groups who search for the most effective and efficient way to perform one well-defined task...who then lead the collective in periodic training will lead to well organized and cohesive action.
(This was for Nihimon, fully intended in the sense of well defined module design).

Allow me to take a minor break from this exercise to welcome Moridian and Banesama to The Seventh Veil. We are extremely proud of the people we've managed to attract to our organization. We are also very pleased to see that, despite protestations to the contrary, we are continuing to attract quality people during these trying times.

Eclectic: T7V will be home to those who pursue many, varied interests and dreams in PfO.
This is in no way at odds with the cohesion that KitNyx has mentioned; we will find strength in diversity.
Something tells me Lhan was just waiting for someone to come along and deliver the D so he could jump in with Eclectic :)

Judging by this thread, I might have been better off choosing learned, logophilic or lexiconophilic. It appears that we are at least the latter two, with aspirations to the first...

Mentors: Members of T7V with all the lore and knowledge can counsel others on the Way (Sivanah) or merely be teachers in esoteric and rare lore.
that includes my character, one of the earlier, not-founding, members of T7V. my generalist in this game that looks like it could have rewards and things for people who hug the middle

Oecistic: Although we are still debating the nature of the ownership, we intend to be at the forefront of founding of a settlement.
Digging deep on that one, but given that it's the opposite of "oikophobic" (Scruton's sage), I'll proudly own it.
