Is it possible to fill out multiple times from the same ISP number? I filled it out but there are three more players in this house - wife, son and daughter.

Try flushing your cookies or using a different browser and reboot your router. Then it depends if you get a static IP or dynamic IP from your ISP. If static then do it through your work VPN, using your 3G dongle, etc.

I emailed the almighty Thod about potential solutions.

Thanks ZomB.

Of course, now I'm nervous that I actually *did* do it the wrong way around...
So, uh, yeah...I watched my wife take the survey, and I totally got those answers reversed. The way I answered look like a power gaming, rules lawyering, roll-play hating evangelist who can't stand the thought of a module with a storyline. Hilarious...

Heh, me too. I think it's because I've taken a lot of these surveys (as well as similar course evaluations) and they almost always do it in the opposite way--reading the directions couldn't kick that habit.

Add me to the list of those who thought 5 was high and one was low.

Sent you a PM instead to test PMs out. Unfortunately though, there are probably enough more people who got the survey from their VC and don't read this thread to throw those numbers off, even with the ones that can be fixed amended.

Wow, neat new upgrade.

I saw the (1) next to my name at the top of my alias. I have one message.

I have responded, Rogue.

Also, RE, I have added an additional warning/message to the opening intro (like anyone read that...i know).

It just baffles me that a group of people that will spend hours, even days, pouring over 500+ page books, and arguing the nuances of the meaning of a word in context of surrounding text cannot take 10 seconds to read the directions for this survey. *sigh*

Sorry, if this comes off as condescending or arrogant, but this survey has the potential to provide some very useful information, and with the apparent plethora of error-filled submissions, I may have to question the accuracy of the results.

It just proves the power of habitual patterns. Like I said above, I read the directions. I even likely did the first couple questions correctly. Then I fell into old habits because I was busy focusing on the questions, themselves.

There are people who make a living studying habitual behavior. This thread (and that section of the survey) would make them giddy.

I agree that it has the potential to do so. And, Pain, you know I love ya, man, but those questions probably ought to be thrown out due to bad execution.

Shadow Lodge 4/5 **** Venture-Captain, Michigan—Mt. Pleasant

Yeah, Bob, I was thinking the same thing. I read it and followed the directions. I've taken a lot of surveys, but I can never remember which is normally high, so I always check.

1/5 **

Completed....and it appears I did it wrong.

Also, 5=high and 1=low isn't a convention, it's a mathematical fact. The alternative is the very definition of counter-intuitive. Blaming the respondents is a real stretch imho.

Grand Lodge 1/5

I completed. Look forward to data.

Bugley!, Bob, Eric, Drogon: I love youse guys.

1) Let's have this discussion in a thread meant for Survey discussion and/or after the survey is completed.

2) Everyone will have the chance to ignore/rip/destroy/distort whatever data they want...I will be releasing it. So, I won't be doing anymore analysis than any of you. This will be community data to use...so I won't be throwing out any questions. In future discussions, I'll let others decide how they want to view things.

Kudos to you both for your civility. This is the reason I enjoy PFS...peeps are generally very amicable, even when saying/receiving words that could raise hackles.

I did the survey and DID think that 1=low, 5=high. I hope there is a way to account for that (despite the large number of "3s" i entered).

Helps if you read the instructions... "Have you PLAYED this game before?" :)

2/5

Completed the survey.

1/5

Survey complete. I will inform my players of it this weekend.
@Painlord I look forward to the results.
