How do you tell the owner of an object?

Short of using "Wish" or "Divination," is there a spell that would allow the caster to examine an object and know something about its owner?

I don't know of any, but you could convert this 2nd level psionic power from 3.5 into a 2nd level divination spell.

Or this one. Its the exact same, its just from a 3rd party Pathfinder product instead of 3.5.
