This sounds like a Profession (herbalist) check to gather suitable plants, then a Craft (poison) check to make an effective poison from them. Possibly you could raise the Profession (herbalist) DC to locate a more potent natural poison that doesn't need preparation. If you get down to specific numbers, I doubt that the Craft rules will support it as written.

Isn't Craft (Alchemy) the Craft skill for making poisons?
+1
Requiring a Craft (Poison) instead of Craft (Alchemy) is like requiring a Craft (Swords) instead of using Craft (Weapons).
As far as finding the ingredients in the wild yourself (as opposed to just buying them), that would probably be under Profession (Herbalist). You could probably do it with Knowledge (Nature), but that knowledge isn't very focused and an herbalist would be more likely to know the proper preservation and harvesting techniques for the various plants they encounter. (In other words, Profession [Herbalist], or Knowledge [Nature] at about 5 higher DC).

are there any plants that are poisionious that can be found easily in nature. i have a ranger and i was thinking of harvesting such plants to poision some Ale. what i want to do is put the drinker to sleep if possable and just want to make sure im not going to try something i cant do.
RAW the above are correct. Poisons = Alchemy.
Yep... to brew up that centipede venom, you need to know your powders and extracts... not where the venom gland in a centipede is. Belladonna you need Alchemy to recognize... somehow. And yes, I realize that some of it will be around storage, refinement into powders and how toxins can decay when exposed to air, but c'mon.
There are plenty of things in nature that'll kill you dead if you eat them. From memory, Cyanide is actually pretty common in the natural world, and one of the applications of Survival is basically "Don't eat that, it'll kill you."
I'd suggest running by your GM an 'Anti-forage', where you roam around looking for the bad things to eat (that aren't obscenely terrible tasting) rather than the good things. Depending on how well you do will depend on what you'll find. It'll probably involve though convincing the guy to sit down and have a salad though rather than dropping some powder in his beer.
Once you step into refining the poisons down or bringing them out of the roots and leaves into powders, potions and lotions... Alchemy through and through. Natural form... Run it up the flagpole and see who salutes. What's the worst that can happen?
Oh wait... the worst is that you'll roll a 1 and feed him some wild almonds, or Hemlock, or Atropa Belladonna, or deathcap mushrooms....

are you looking for fantasy poisionious plants? surely there would be some - green slime comes to mind quickly, and yellow mold. if these are too strong, try working something out with your DM... say "Goblin shelf fungus" make up the stats. Or pull the CRB and we find Striped Toadstool ingested DC13, onset 10 min, freq 1/min for 4 min. Damage 1d3 wis and 1 Int.
But if you are looking for real ones - just try the internet.
