Looking for Denver gamers

Gamer Connection

CO, Denver - NWOD, Pathfinder...nothing's set in stone yet!

I'm looking for a few gamers in the Denver area, preferably near to the old Attactix gaming area, for an every other Friday gaming group. I'm really jazzed to run a NWOD Vampire game, but am very very open to running a Pathfinder game, or possibly something else entirely.

I just ask that we could meet up somewhere neutral first; sadly, I've met far too many gamers that I wish showered or don't talk during games; people who don't bath regularly or don't roleplay need not apply.

If you'd like to get into contact with me you can E-mail me at Narratore@gmx.com. I'll happily answer questions here as well! :)

When you say Attactix, do you mean the one across the street from Mission Viejo library in Aurora?

Dark Archive

Yeah! That's the one!

It's closed now...I think someone else is trying to start up another gaming store there, but I haven't heard anything past that; as far as I know everyone migrated to Troll Country Games or further away to Mythplaced Treasures or Enchanted Grounds. Valhalla's closed as well I understand...but I was never a fan, so no tears. They never carried much in the way of either Pathfinder or White Wolf anyways...

Sadly, I can't meet at Troll Country; one of their staff sexually assaulted a friend of mine, and that'd be...quite awkward. I'm more a Mythplaced guy myself anyways.

Gah! Gamer talk. Anyways, yes, the old Attactix, near the Mission Viejo library.

You know, I honestly don't care where people come from, but I rather like the setup I've got going in my house, so I'd prefer to run from there. I'm close to Mississippi & Havana.

There's a rather active group on a website that begins with a 'Y' and ends in 'ahoo' called Rocky Mountain Pathfinder- RMPathfinder. It's quite active and you'll have no trouble at all finding players for pathfinder, at least.

Enchanted Grounds is one of the popular places to meet.. you can come by on a game night just to scope out (and/or sniff) the crowd!

Enchanted grounds IS awesome! It's staff is (generally) very friendly and helpful, the place is clean, the stock is up-to-date, the place is clean, there is always something going on there, the place is clean...I also love getting comic books there, and the baristas really know how to make a good coffee drink. Oh! And the gaming environment is also warm, open, and inviting.

It's also far far away.

From my house.

And my library of books.

That are in my house.

However, it'd make a GREAT place to meet up, or for someone else to run a game at.

Thanks for the suggestion to check out the Yahoo groups Rocky Mountain Pathfinder group; I am honestly surprised when I stumble across those still; I thought Yahoo had liquidated them all.

Good luck. It looks like IRL stuff will keep me from gaming with you.

Thanks!

This monday they're holding a PFS OP night. Even if you don't intend to do PFS, you can doubtlessly meet many new potental game buddies. Signups say 3 full tables for that night, so you can expect to meet over 20 people if you want to show up and recruit for your home game.

Maybe see you there!

A quick update, if anyone was at all interested:

So, I toured ALL the gaming stores, and guess what they said? All of them, I might add:

"You should really, really ask this question on Paizo's forums,"

None of them knew players who could play in my game; they all encouraged me to post on their bulletin board, but assured me that it probably would get me 0 responses.

@Deusvult: Jeff at Enchanted Grounds was very friendly and helpful, and said it was a good idea for me to show up for a Pathfinder Society night to look for players; he said he'd throw me up on the ladder for me to announce my need for another gamer or two. That sounds awesome enough that I'll do it just ta do it.

If your still looking for players I would be interested..esp if its pathfinder.Ive played very little WhiteWolf but I would be willing to try it and learn.I have no problem meeting at a neutral location(preferably toward Monaco).Ill drop you an email so you can contact me if you need another player or decide to run something. Thanks

I'm looking to join a Pathfinder game and I may have a couple additional players that I can bring with me. Please email me at ishowind (at) yahoo.com if you are interested. I'm looking for a fun outlet to compliment an intense workweek and a degree of maturity with those I'm gaming with.

What time does the PFS OP night start? I typically have monday nights free I might go check it out. We've got a saturday 4-10p session near e470 and arapaho thats full but I could use an extra night out of the foxhole. Might not get an accurate reading if those folks have a smell to them since its half coffee shop. Hard to overwhelm the olfactory power of javajavajava.

Bit of an old post, but if anyone's looking for a group, we normally meet in people's homes right now, but I'll have a store opening up soon, get in contact with me.
