It's the "gun of lightning bolt, reach frigid touch, scorching ray" that I don't like.
I will add it, with disclaimers. Weird Science moves it to "bad" for me.
We did house rule it to one spell per device with GM approval after the infamous Bane artificer. had one device that when activated gave him
Bull's Str Bear's Endurance Cat's Grace Enlarge person and Bestow weapon prof GreatAxe

I used Weird Science because I thought the idea was great fun. Hard to balance yes but that's what a DM is for. I added a cap on number of spells per device of 2 + 1 per 5 levels of artificer (3 at 5th, 4 at 10th, ect).

Cool. I'm glad to be a part of the Artificer list with both of my Pathfinder implementations of the concept. And yes, I do like Artificers. I'll need to make Google Docs of the two and post the links here for you when I have time at home since I have made some slight changes. Like Dragonamedrake, it's blocked here at my work (which makes no since to me, but whatever)....

Okay, here are the Google Doc links:
Artificer
Artifice - Oracle Mystery
Hope that worked right. I'm not very experienced with the Google Doc thing.

I like the idea of the artificer here. In fact, I have a wonderful idea for a monk/artificer villain that I could subject my group to in our new campaign. (Insert maniacal laugh here).
Thanks pluvia, keep up the good work.

While not "Artificer", there is the "Artisan" class in Faces of the Tarnished Souk: Kahrvass Fleymbrow, Smith of Burning Desire.

The Ardwright is one of those, right? And I did see the other one which seems to be a straight rip of eberron's. I don't think I added that one, for whatever reason. Probably shouldn't.
At the bottom of the document are my (probably erroneous) classifications of them into steampunk or clockpunk. Most didn't fall into either (based on a quick reading of the class table). If people think one of them deserves to be in a category, let me know.

Oh, saw your post in the google group.
Anyhoo, I used this one in our last campaign, was a lot of fun, though it's long since been abandoned:

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! I hath returned from the depths of obscurity (and editing my Paizocon footage) to add nothing to this conversation!
Cool to see this list again. I encourage everyone...EVERYONE! to look at and playtest my Engineer. A shameless plug? Definitely. But that's just how I roll.
Hmmm...just picked up some Spidey comics. How would folks feel about a web-shooter gadget? Ooh! And a tracer!
...Catch Phrase,

Added link to Drop Dead Studio's Artisan.
It's pretty good so far, and is close to taking my top spot for "low tech artificer". Which would be opposed to, say, Delvo's Engineer, which is quite high-tech, comparatively.

Not yet. I glanced through it and the main comment I had was "Huh, I haven't noticed any issues yet." You should PM me next week though about it. I'm very busy right now with work, etc so can't really spend the time to critique it. If I can get around to it, it'd be done in the class' thread.
