I actually wasn't making fun of females, but males who play female characters to live out their feminine sexual fantasies with unsuspecting nerds. lolNothing there to assume a female character let's keep River Kingdoms free from narrow thinking. Males could just as easily be using such tactics.so as a rogue can i get someone in bed and since it is open world pvp i can then Gut them ? it is what i think about when i hear about a erotic rp and i want to join in just a great way to get their guard down.I take it you'll be playing a Female character?
The reverse happens too. I have some female friends that only play male characters and regularly go skirt chasing.

im having a hard time figuring out why gutting ppl with a rusty blade is acceptable and consensual erotism isnt, but if it is to avoid legal problems and bad publicity i can understand from a BUSINESS perspective.
note: ppl will do it regardless;

When I was 15, right before I moved to England, I watched a shampoo commercial on TV here in the USA. When I arrived in England, I watched the same commercial with one big difference.
The USA version showed the woman showering from the neck up. The Europe version showed from the waist up. The breast fully exposed. That surprised me greatly at that age. I guess a mild form of culture shock.

lol... Since I was 15, I was more interested in pornographic material. Much easier to get over in England. There were even adult channels that gave you free previews around Midnight. Usually only for about 15 minutes, but sometimes they made mistakes and got a couple of hours.
This was in the early 90's, so the Internet was not like it is today and not widely available.

Quite simply put, it's just not worth the risk, not only to losing your account, but to malicious sorts who may attempt to blackmail you by threatening your 'Server Rep' by posting screenshots or chatlogs, to kids trying to 'be adults' and you getting caught out and going to jail.
Another thing on that last part. It's a rising trend in WoW at least that there's a lot of younger kids joining the game, and a 'friend' who'se on the Darknest Private Channel has noticed that there's a lot of these kids running around with 'sexy' MRP profiles, people whom he's run into in Raids with some very mature-sounding profiles, who speak coherently and act flirty, but when they get onto Vent to talk during the Raid, it's obvious they're kids.
ERP is gonna happen. Hopefully it'll be kept to the private channels, whispers and the like. It's inevitable, because Human nature will come out in the end and people will take the 'anonymous' nature of an MMO and do things that they, as a person, would never do. I just hope the people who choose to do it remember that they're not only violating the TOU, but putting themselves square into the sights of paranoid parents who would rather blame somebody else for them not monitoring their own children, a media which thrives on hyping up each and every single negative aspect into the new 'beginning of the apocalypse' story and a number of national police forces who don't care about your circumstances, you're having 'sex' with a minor.
But remember that it's like running into a brothel without condoms. You're gonna get screwed eventually, and not in the good way. Even if somebody says 'Yes, I am 18', that's no defence in a court of law. You still had 'sex' with a minor. Or somebody's wife. Or an FBI agent.

If it were someone's spouse, that's between the members of that relationship; maybe that's within bounds for them, maybe someone's going to file for divorce. If the latter happens, there could be a civil case to sue for contributing to estrangement/alienation of affections.
If the other person were an FBI agent, I think the problem would be if they told you they were a minor and you kept up contact anyway, especially if you arrange to meet. If they claim to be an adult and really are an adult, but not of the sex/gender/hairstyle/etc. they claimed, that's just the internet for ya.Still, it's best to take anything bannable out of game and as a general rule, try to at least talk on the phone before meeting someone in person.

If you think there are multiple servers planned, you don't know PFO very well, and if you think Paizo would associate itself with objectifying women, then you don't know them either. Last I heard, the CEO of Paizo and the COO of Goblinworks is Lisa Stevens, and if you look up past PFO threads about skimpy armour and you can find posts by Paizo moderators dealing with related issues.

It will make charging the Gnomes, Goblins, Kobolds and Halflings all the more hilarious if I can stun them with my +5 Codpiece of Greater S.W.A.G., and the screams of horror when they realise that Monks can literally use the Turkey Slap as a genuine part of their Flurry of Attacks move.
