The rest of your stay on the Shiv goes relatively quietly. You search out several wrecks and foind the following of value;
17pp, 122gp, 461sp, a handy haversack, and a wand of magic missles with 17 charges.
The gold and silver box is worth 350gp.
Groliks treasure consists of the following:
246 sp,
234 gp,
13 pp,
13 gems worth 10gp each
3 jewels worth a total of 1100gp
a mithral hook designed to be worn on an arm stump (worth 1,000 gp),
a fine brass sextant worth 500 gp,
It takes 100gp and two lesser jewels worth 500 gp to bribe the captain and the crew so please net that out.
Magic:
Cloak of Resistance +1
Ioun Stone, Dusty Rose Prism
Rope of Climbing
Restorative Ointment (4 charges left)

Anton Green |

We left the gold, silver and copper in the treasure pit to go back for later, and we actually have a block and tackle (found very early on), so it's potentially retrievable. I'll try and add all the new stuff and the items from the temple safe room to the loot log tonight.

Mihai Soarta |

Headband of Inspired Wisdom - 4,000gp
Circlet of Persuasion - 4,500gp
Flute - 250gp
Party Loot:
Scrolls: Restoration, Divination, Bless, Lesser Restoration
Healer's Kit (7 uses)
2 x Bodybalm
Updating my loot list for the great divide - Anton, could you re-link your detailed log?

Blurst? :)

Anton Green |

Okay, I think I have the party loot log fully updated. Notes:
- Prices listed are full retail -- what it would cost to buy in a store -- not what it would cost to make or what you could sell it for. Please tell me if I miscalculated any.
- Please tell me if I missed any uses of expendables, since I've been using the loot log as a kind of proxy journal.
- Speaking of which, you need to look at the Quantity and Owner columns, since there are things that we used up, threw away, gave away, left behind, traded, or spent.

Mr. Burns: This is a thousand monkeys working at a thousand typewriters. Soon they'll have written the greatest novel known to man. Lets see. It was the best of times, it was the "blurst" of times! You stupid monkey!
Oh... Denver Broncos! I can't believe I missed the reference. :)

Niɱ |

Personal:
Scimitar +1, 2315gp
Belt of Giant Str +2, 4000gp
Ioun Stone (dusty rose prism), 5000gp
Ring of Prot. +1, 2000gp
Total = 13315gp
Party:
Potion of Haste, 750gp
Potion of Water Walk, 750gp
Total = 1500gp
Nim is ahead of the WBL curve as well.
Looks like we have some other magic items above to share out. And then even things out with coin as best we can.

Niɱ |

I would go so far as to suggest we include wands as well... just about anything really that is consumed by use.

Aedalis Omathi |

Wealth Audit-
Azlant Cloak- 3,500GP.
Consumables-
Potion of Cure Light Wounds
Wand of Cure Light Wounds (17 charges)
___________________________________________________________________________ __
Aedalis is a relative pauper. I'd like to claim the free masterwork backpack owned by base camp and the lesser extend metamagic rod.

Mihai Soarta |

Headband of Inspired Wisdom - 4,000gp
Circlet of Persuasion - 4,500gp
Silver Flute w/ Azlanti carvings - 250gp
Mithril Scroll tube - 500gp
Gold chain from locket that appeased the spirit
Party Loot:
Scrolls: Restoration, Divination, Bless, Lesser Restoration, Comprehend Languages, Cure light wounds, Cure moderate wounds, Eagle's splendor, Daylight, Freedom of movement
Potions: CLW,
Healer's Kit (7 uses)
2 x Bodybalm
Jortal's Journal
Total for Mihai is 17,175gp excluding party loot.

Anton Green |

Anton's Stuff:
Larissia's wayfinder - 500 gp
Azlanti boots of the jungle - 2500 gp
+1 slick breastplate - 5100 gp
Party Stuff:
Potion of water breathing - 750 gp
Potion of cure light wounds - 50 gp
Not including consumables, Anton has 8100 gp worth -- but most of that is his armor, and the ability score increase at level 4 bumped his Dex bonus over its max. Also, a +1 chain shirt wouldn't have an armor check penalty (with his Armor Expert trait), so he wouldn't have to choose between leaving it on and maximizing his ability to disarm a trap. It looks like a good change to me, even though it's technically trading down.
If the handy haversack is unsized, then I'd like it. I think I can get Anton's weight down to Light. (But if it's Medium or someone else just wants it more, that's fine.)
The rope of climbing is too tempting to pass up. No way Anton would let that just get sold to some merchant.
Should I start making a shopping list? There are some other things that I'd like that we didn't find, starting with an ioun torch...

DM Stephen |

You will find that the city is rather small and isn't well equipped with magic. Some minor items can be crafted and you will have the time to get them crafted...we can address that after you wrap up the early part of the AP.
You can find any items under 500gp but I will have to roll up the rest that are available now.

Corbius Jank |

Corbius Stuff
+1 mithral Chain 2100 gp
Party stuff
Wand of vampiric touch (4)
Wand of Mirror Image(12)
Potion CLW
Bracers of Archery 5000 gp (I have no interest in them)

1 lb. of soap
Other Notes
If I put it under Coin, that means I'm assuming that it can be sold at full price rather than half. This includes gems and jewelry. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

DM Stephen |

You are right on the coin or art, jewels, gems. They are worth full price. Can someone summarize the party wealth for each person and figure out who gets what out of the coin? You can sell everything that no one wants, although Anton might take the bracers now at half price.
You will also get several rewards in the next few days so we can plan to add those.

Anton Green |

8668.92 gp total in coins, gems & jewelry (not including Aeshamara's locket)
- 600 gp in bribes for Grolik's passage
= 8068.92 gp remaining
87,597 gp in non-coin non-consumables (not including the TBD values listed above)
/ 2
= 43,798.5 gp
+ 8068.92 gp coins
= 51,867.42 gp total non-consumables
/ 6
= 8644.57 gp each
For the purposes of this comparison, take half off the listed price of any items that you're keeping from what we already have.

Anton Green |

You can sell everything that no one wants, although Anton might take the bracers now at half price.
I haven't decided yet whether to stick with the sling staff or switch to a bow. The disadvantage of the sling staff is that it would take two feats to load as a free action; the advantage is that it would do more damage with higher Str (such as from rage). The disadvantage of the bow is that it can't be used to melee; the advantage is that more things work with it as written (including Launch Trap), no DM fiat required.
Also, I noticed that we have a +1 chain shirt (from the Nightvoice) that no one is using. How much would it cost to have it re-sized? (Is that even possible?) I might've asked that before, but I don't remember.

Anton Green |

A few notes:
There appears to be a discrepancy. I have Corb down as getting mithral chainmail from the treasure pit, but he has it listed as a +1 mithral chain shirt, which is worth less. That would change my calculations. (Sorry if this was already addressed; I do my best to keep the loot log updated, but some things slip past me, apparently.)
Speaking of things slipping past me, for some reason I thought that Corb had the amulet of natural armor + 1, but apparently that was all in my head. I've updated the owners on the loot log to account for claims and declaims.
Also, I'm thinking that maybe Aedalis would like Yarzoth's waterproof scroll tube (worth 250 gp) that can hold 20 scrolls? Tragershen already has an Azlanti scroll tube, and Mihai already has a mithral one.

Corbius Jank |

The amulet was given to Nim I believe.

![]() |

Corb is supposed to have the amulet. As mentioned during this treasure split...
Anton takes the slick +1 breastplate.
Corb takes the mithril chainmail.
Nim would like the belt. :)
Nim could take the ioun stone and pass the amulet of natural armor back to Corb.
Mihai the divine scroll.
Trag/Aedalis/Corb copy/learn/etc the other two scrolls and then pass them on to whoever wants to carry them.
Tragershen the wand.
Thoughts?
And I even remind him to add it a few posts later. :)
Stone and belt added. Stats/sheet updated.
Don't forget to add the amulet Corb.

Corbius Jank |

Lol. Um I forgot. :)

DM Stephen |

Pezcock stays up that night to show you his Hex tricks. His unusual mind and quickness allows him to teach you several new abilities, it will take you approximately one week of practice before you can fully utilize this ability:
Focused Hex:
Choose one Hex you currently have. Due to the special mind techniques and tricks that Pezcock shows you, that Hex is more difficult to resist. Add +1 to the Difficulty Class for all saving throws against that Hex. At every three levels you can spend a week and change the focus of your hex to another Hex available to you. You can only have one focused Hex at a time.
Speed of Thought:
Once per day you can increase the speed with which you invoke a hex according to the following progression:
Move Action becomes a Swift Action.
Standard Action becomes a Move Action.
Full Round Action becomes a Standard Action.
This ability can not be used to invoke any additional Hexes than you would have normally been able to invoke.

Anton Green |

Can someone summarize the party wealth for each person and figure out who gets what out of the coin?
I've been waiting for the answers to my questions. If I just knew for sure how much Mihai's armor is worth and what kind Corb has, then I could at least make a start.

Anton Green |

Never mind about Mihai's adamantine chain shirt of the Azlant; I found a cleaned-up version here (original here).
As for Corb's armor, we found his (and Anton's) here and discussed them here; I was just being thorough and double-checking that his was changed too, since I couldn't find a discussion of that.
So, I'll do a preliminary split today.

Anton Green |

This is not including expendables. Values are converted to half price for convenience. I'm exhausted and will not do any more on this tonight.

You will also be getting a 1000gp reward from the city shortly...Tragershen, if you can look at the open items and pick up any you want, we can divy what is left of the gold to anyone that is below the average group wealth.
The Azlanti scroll case is woth 250gp sale value BTW.
You also have the Azalanti spells you can make scrolls of and sell (1000gp for the two) as well as the wall rubbings you can sell (750gp to a collector).

Fredrik |

Thanks for all that Fredrik! That is a whole lot of pita work you did there! :)
EDIT: One quick error spotted... Mihai's chain shirt isn't halved. I haven't checked it all, or the totals/math but that one stands out. :)
You're welcome! That is actually halved, believe it or not. (Compare the initial version with the cleaned-up version.)
ETA: I could've sworn that I wrote a post toward the end of the last chapter pointing out that we still had to go back and get the copper, silver and gold coins from the treasure pit. (We even had a block and tackle at the castaway camp, if necessary.) But now I can't find that post; it must've been an intention that did not actually get converted into post form, probably while I was traveling.

Tragershen |

Well, considering that I am ready to start multiclassing into barbarian, I think the +1 chainshirt and +1 greatclub would be a good match for Tragershen.
Just kidding.
Tragershen would have interest in the ioun stone and cloak. But isn't the ioun stone listed for Nim above?
Let me echo the appreciation for Fredrik for doing all the work on gathering and compiling all of that!

Niɱ |

I believe this is a second ioun stone...
...and I'm sure we had time to recover the coins from the pit. The rest of the wrecks were hand waived so i don't see an issue hand waiving the pit.
