In an extremely lame development, my bank account was hacked today (before I could order or buy any Xmas presents for my family) :(. Currently, my money is supposed to come from my now defunct checking account, but the bank is changing the account number, etc. Does anyone know how to change the account you're paying from?

The current total is $12,020 with 53 hours left.
If this reaches $12,500 by the end the final goal kicks in, adding a 16-page standalone mini-adventure by Wolfgang Baur himself.
The project would then weigh in at 160-pages of total material (128-pages + 16-pages pirate society + 16-pages mini-adventure).

I am delighted and honored to get to write my edge-of-the-world adventure for this crazy crew! Thank you to all the backers. We're just about 30 hours away from closing out the funding stage.
I haven't decided whether the adventure I'm writing will be available to backers only or to the public. Open Design used to do a lot more limited editions, and this might be a good time to do that again.
Not too late to sign up and make sure you don't miss out on this great project.

I'm very thankful to you all for your pledges. Thank you.
In honor of the season, I decided to personally pledge a gift of Journeys to a service member, along with a KQ sub, as I am thankful for all they do for us. If you'd like to do something for a service member, don't forget KQ's Adopt-A-Service-Member program.
Thanks again, everyone. I'm plotting the Journeys pitching rounds this weekend. Should be a most excellent journey. Fair winds!

Hey Christina, I'd like to recommend a book for reference purposes:
Donald S. Johnson's Phantom Islands of the Atlantic. The book (oop but easily available) has been inspirational to me in the past, when writing up piratical and exploration campaigns. It details such islands as Antillia, Hy Brasil, Buss, and the Island of Demons.

Only 8 hours to go, and right now, if you join us before we cast off, you'll load up on the riches of author's lost hours--
A 16-page standalone mini-adventure called "The Edge of the World" as part of this project. Yep, a voyage right to the edge of the map, and PCs can explore all the strange things that happen there. This is in addition to all the adventures, spells, islands, monsters, and NPCs already included.
If you haven't signed up for Journeys to the West and you want this all-new adventure, plus
the 128-page anthology,
the ocean chart poster map,
logbook,
treasure maps,
aboleth glyphs,
deck plans, and a
complete pirate secret society writeup,
If you have signed up, thank you, and the design starts today. This will be the truly last last-call, because we're just not sure there's any more awesomeness we can offer.
Do not delay: the Kickstarter ends today, Sunday, at midnight Pacific time!

Got an email from Wolfgang a few hours ago, and signed up at the Bosun level. This makes the second kickstartere program I am signed up for. I like the idea of getting to have some input into what gets written. Though I haven't taken the opportunity to contribute, but you never know what may happen.

Hay, wow! I have that book!
And you're right - it's very interesting!

Just wanted to post an update on the project. We've gotten our first four islands underway, and we are about to vote in the last three. We've got four new monsters in addition to the ones we previewed on the blog, and several new magical items. Adventure pitching is not too far off the horizon, though we have several other pitch rounds for NPCs, spells, and such to go.
We are moving along nicely. My thanks to all who supported this project!

Update: We have up a playtest draft for the patrons on the islands, monsters, spells, and other bits we've already covered. Adventures are being written, and we are sailing toward our final destination.
You can still sign up for this project, though. You won't want to miss out on all the promised goodies in this one! Here's a link at the KQ Store.
Here's what you can get a the lower 2 levels. The pitching has mostly ended, so I wouldn't recommend signing up higher than bosun.

Just going to add that this has been a great project and Christina has been a most excellent Captain. There have been a couple of recent blog posts on Kobold Quarterly with free material that will give you a great idea of all of the great work coming together for these books.
Journeys to the West: Hazards and Havens
This post includes the Island Survival Manual, a handy magic item for any characters planning a voyage into Midgard's Western Ocean...or perhaps the pirate-infested Shackles of Golarion. And, the Rum Gremlins...perfect monstrosities for a sea town near you whether it is Barsella, Freeport, or Bloodcove. Well, perfect for the GM, not so good for the players.
Journeys into the West: Guardians and En Garde!
This one includes the Swashing Plumage, the perfect headgear for your stylish swordsmen and swordswomen. And the second entry is the Figureheads of Prowess. Every character can find something here that would be perfect for their ship.

It will go out later in the Journeys Kickstart Update, but if you are on the Journeys forum, I've opened up a small encounter piece in the "Awash in the Wash" 1st-level adventure for pitchers for name credit. Go check the boards. If you aren't on the boards, then go sign up at the KQ store (see 3 posts up)!
