Updating four first 3.5 Adventures Paths (second darkness, etc) to PF rules

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hi, I'm sure it would sell if they published totally revised versions (and improved, too!) of the 4 first adventures paths, isn'it?

I particularly love the Second Darkness. They could include the three subtereean levels (Nar-Voth ; Sekamina & Orv, the best of all!!)

Don't you think that would sell and be great to optimize the possibilities? I for one, doesn't want to converse everything to pathfinder, and what's more, they could place it in absolute context with the Inner Sea, geography, history and sociology :)

They have stated they will not do this, as it would undercut regular AP sales, which is the main source of income for the company.

Outside of those reasons, it still doesn't make sense to collect the Pathfinder Adventure Paths. Probably the most important to us is that we can't afford to have people "wait" for us to publish a collection. (I know many people wouldn't... but many people would.) We need regular income from monthly releases to stay in business; anything we do to discourage that is counterproductive to our survival. Plus, collecting them would slow the sales of our current inventories, and that's bad.

Special cases do happen, as Kthulhu mentions below. It's not impossible that they will change their minds in the future, but they cannot make it a regular feature without endangering their revenue model.

This. However, Rise of the Runelords is getting an anniversary edition.

Well, I guess someday they might, when thing's go more easely
