Another check off on my list of things I want to accomplish. The awesome IT folks put in some extra work and now the system awards a GM two stars instead of one when you GM a sanctioned module. Just wanted to get the word out since I know some people were interested in this happening.
Thanks IT folks!

If you GM any of the sanctioned modules, it usually consumes 8+ hours of your time. The players receive 3 XPs for their character when they play through the full module. However, the GM only receive one credit toward his GM star rating, even if he ran what amounts to two full sessions. Since a GM could run two PFS scenarios in the time it takes to run one sanctioned module, it was only fair the GM receive two credits toward his star rating instead of just one.
When you judge a module now, your sessions record will display GM ranking: +2 for each module GMed.

What is the chance this works with ones reported prior to this change?...;)
It works for all modules ever GMed in your history. Your first was June 19, 2010 when you GMed Master of the Fallen Fortress. If yu look on the right side of the column, you will see the GM ranking: +2 under the notes section.

Looks like it did.... but umm.. I should have only gotten 2 Extra Credits, Instead I got 4 extra Credits.
I went from 66 to 70, and I have only run 2 Modules..
Looks like it is counting We Be Goblins and Master of the Fallen Fortress

It did count We Be Goblins and Master of Fallen Fortress because they are modules. You also GMed Godsmouth Heresy and Tomb of Iron Medusa according to your sessions. SO, the +4 is correct.

SHHHHHHUSH! They didn't realize it only takes 4 hours to run Master of the Fallen Fortress & We Be Goblins... Don't look a gift horse in the mouth!

Ahh, I thought the goal was to give extra credit for running the Full Modules. The Free RPG Day modules usually go quicker than a scenario.
Hey not going to argue too much against it.. That much closer to 4 Star... ;)

Yes, Master of the Fallen Fortress and We Be Goblins can take less than two full slots. If We Be Goblins is roleplayed the way it should be, it could take longer than 4 hours and closer to 6. But, since they are modules, I didn't want to exclude them. If someone wants to run Master of the Fallen Fortress 50 times to game the system, then so be it.

Yes, Heaven forbid someone help that many new players enjoy the game. :P
Also, this is pretty awesome. Im now two tables closer to getting my 2nd star.

So to get a better Idea how this works.. It only gives you an extra GM credit towards GM ranking the first time you run it? I noticed that the second time I ran We Be Goblins did not get the extra Credit towards Ranking.

No, it should be for every time you run a module. I wil pass on to the IT folks.

Holy cow! This is great! I noticed there were some complaints about this recently and it's awesome that it was addressed so quickly. +1 for Paizo's IT Team!
Now it's even better that I'm running Ravenwood next weekend.

If you're talking about our session history, I thought I'd speak up and let you guys know its not showing up on mine. I was thinking it was probably the thing the PostMonster mentioned. My first session GM'd was MotFF, since I've done seven scenarios, but my table credit still shows 8. Just thought I'd let whoever wants to know know. :) Thanks.
PS: Mike, you're doing an awesome job by the way! (And the IT guys for getting your list done. :D

Awesome! This is definently something I wanted to see for PFS play. I know from personal experience that running modules can take significantly more work to run then your typical scenario. So getting more credit for stars certainly makes me feel more appreciated running them. And now that all of those new modules have been approved for PFS play...

Question: I just ran Feast of Ravenmoor and reported the sessions. I do indeed see it show up as two sessions on my GM ranking. However, the system recorded me as earning 2 prestige for the module. Shouldn't the module be worth 4 Prestige, as it is for players? Is the GM reward really only 2 Prestige, or is the system merely underreporting?
Thanks!

Its a system error. Make sure to award yourself 4 prestige on the chronicle.
