Is it possible to cancel this? I'd still like to keep the subscription, but have no need of a beginner box (or anyone to gift it to). I am also confused as to why it would be included in the subscription includes the core...

Yeah, I am in the same position. I really don't think this item should have been included in the subscription. If there is any option to cancel this I would really like to opt out without canceling my whole subscription.

Unfortunately there is no way to remove a subscription item with out canceling the subscription.

If you would like to cancel and restart after the Beginner Box that is not a problem. You can restart as soon as you like, the next volume you can restart with is currently Bestiary 3. You can restart the subscription just like you would begin a new subscription, by placing the subscription in your shopping cart and going through the check-out process.
