Why use a rifle as a gunslinger?

like the title says why would i use a rifle over a pistol as a full gunslinger? it seems rather restrictive on iterative attacks every round. sorry if this is phrased bad its late at night for me

Better range, better base damage, perhaps you took the Musket master archetype and obtained third level. Maybe you want to make the absolute most out of the dead shot trait.

What RB said... two pistols (each at -4) can be problematic (though with touch ACs less so) and means that you need to be a bit closer to the action. A rifle/musket gives you the range you need to make sure you stay within the range of your deadshot class feature... also taking the beatdown with the rifle gives you a D10 base damage (crit range sucks at 20) if you do get caught on the hop.

I'm a fan of the Daniel Boone sharpshooter type as well so its also thematic for me
