Fear Effects

Advice

would you say most fear effects are caused by magic?

besides intimidate that is.

reason i am asking is cause of the dwarven feat that gives the racial bonus to poison spells and spell like abilities an additional +2 bonus.

Well quite a few fear effects from monsters are Supernatural abilites and extrodinary abilities. Someone else may be able to confirm but since those aren't subject to spell resistance, I'm pretty sure also do not fall into spells or spell like abilities categories. It does aid you in saves against normal humanoid type creatures, but not so much from a lich or a dragon.

Yes, most fear effects are magical. However, many of them are not spells or spell-like abilities but supernatural effects to which dwarves are no more resistant than other races.
