So by my reading of RAW, the nonlethal damage you take is untyped and therefore fire resistance doesn't technically cover it. Is there an errata or official respose to this somewhere that I haven't found. I find it very silly that if I have fire resist 10, I'm just fine untill it hits 90 degrees, and then fine again after 140 degrees (at that point it does specify fire damage). So I am in danger of heat stroke in the desert, but set me on fire and I'll be fine? That really doesn't seem correct.

The reason white dragons are so rare? They keep dying from hypothermia :(

Yeah, cold environment is even worse, as it is NEVER listed as cold damage. So Assuming the temperature if somewhere between 0 and -20 degrees and that it didn't start failing its fort save until the 20th round, an Ancient White Dragon will be unconscious in less than a day and dead in a day and a half. Obviously this wasn't intended, but I would like to see some official ruling on it.

I think the immunity implies the restistance to temperature

From the Beastiary:
Immunity (Ex or Su) A creature with immunities takes
no damage from listed sources. Immunities can also apply
to aff lictions, conditions, spells (based on school, level,
or save type), and other effects. A creature that is immune
does not suffer from these effects, or any secondary effects
that are triggered due to an immune effect.

As for the OP ... endure elements

Immunity implies ignoring secondary effects of environmental damage. Resistance doesn't seem to =/. And the damage type is apalling left off. I presume some of it is left off because they don't want to type the damage. as written someone with DR would ignore some of the damage, rather than someone with resistance to the element. It lists the damage for catching on fire as 1d6 period. not 1d6 fire. =/

I presume its because most of the environmental stuff was copy/pasted over. so methodically adding the damage type wasn't done.
