I love my life.
Mazeltov! I'll be joining you spiritually after a quick trip to Wareham. Speaking of which, time to fly!

I love that a future DC animated flick is going to be based on Frank Miller's Dark Knight series.
Batman: Year One, an adaptation of the classic Frank Miller 4 issue story arc from the Batman Comic back in '87.
It joins the growing list of animated movies in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies line.
And, in the future, they also plan to develop Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns story. SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

i used to love taking mine trick or treating also....now I can't.
I tend to explain both sides of things to my kids and let them form opinions on things in life like holidays and traditions....so I told them about the origins of Halloween, thinking it is a great way to exercise my knowledge and expand theirs. They decided they would rather celebrate All Saints Day and no longer do Halloween because it really "isn't cool to idolize murderers and death" (words I never said) and they can't eat the candy anyway (allergies).
Last year it was the assault on Christmas where they wanted me and the wifey to find a good charity and donate all the money we would have spent on them to it and not give them presents (Which they absolutely loved!). Now Halloween is lost too. My extended family looks at us like we all grew extra limbs and are worshipping carrots or something....
I love that I am raising independent thinkers that don't care about society's view or forced opinions on issues......but I miss the old Christmas and Halloween too.
EDIT___BTW, AZ, congrats on the boy's trick or treating and don't take my post as a judgement against Halloween or anything....I just find my life is really getting stranger all the time and my kids are pretty cool/weird.

I loved taking my boy trick-or-treating for the first time last night!
I love that my boy figured out that what was going in the pumpkin was candy, and he was going to get to eat some.

I love that my boy doesn't know what was going in his pumpkin (and couldn't eat it anwyay), and that I'm going to get to eat some.

Well I did make the mistake/smart move to go to the neighbors house first and then come home ad gave him a piece of candy. So he knew that the stuff going into the pumpkin was tasty for the rest of the night.

Did he have pinkeye?
We never did get confirmation of that from the doctor since they never saw us. They just sent in an eye drop prescription and that seems to be taking care of it.

I love the job I have, though it was not what I prepared for. I wish I had the thousands of dollars I wasted in college back, but at least I actually go to a place to work without that feeling of anxiety and dread.
I love my wife, my true soul mate, the ying to my yang.
I love my daughters, even when the difficult one is being stubborn and obstinate
I love my three dogs, two of which are snuggled up to me snoring ATM
I love the Internet. I really do. My only wish would be that I had followed my love in college and been part of the early Nineties tech boom rather than becoming an over-qualified pizza deliverer like I was at the time
I love my life, because if you don't love your life you are doing something wrong. The only way to get a life you love is to make it for yourself, whatever that might be.

Damn skippy!
I love going to the beer store and finding, for $14, a gift box containing 3 big bottles of Sam Smith's beer and a cool Sam Smith's pint glass.
Naturally, it became a gift to myself.
