I only just learnt about print on demand - is it feasible/easy for paizo to offer that service for it's PDF only products? I already get the player guides printed and bound and have been toying with the idea of doing the same with the PFS scenarios - it sounds like print on demand would be both cheaper and easier for me.
Any chance?

I've seen some chatter around the boards on this, and I believe it's come down to Paizo not being satisfied enough with the quality of the finished project to put their name on it.

There is that (although the Carrion Crown player guides ended up at a little over $40 each from memory - I think if POD ever becomes feasible the shipping costs will be a non-issue (especially with the 'ship everything monthly' option).
Those earlier posts you made were excellent information, btw. For those of us clueless about your business it sometimes seems there's an 'obvious' solution to some perceived problem. I greatly appreaciate the time you spend explaining why those are generally either unworkable or inferior to what you end up doing. I'll keep hoping POD becomes cheaper and higher quality and in the meantime send a bit of business my local printer's way.

Arise, ARISE, dead thread!!!
I came across this today. It looks like it's been a few years since this was last considered. Has Paizo revisited it at all? For a lot of out-of-print materials (i.e., APs and Map Folios), the secondary market it absolutely brutal.
This comes up every 6 months or so. Vic most recently responded to this again in May in another thread:
I just received new PoD samples a few weeks ago, and though paper quality has improved since the last time I looked into it, I'm still not happy with the print quality.

Thanks, thanks very much.
