My apologies to Gary Teter. There was another thread, call "The Shattered Star", but I didn't notice it till afterwards.
Heh, because I didn't know that was the name of the new AP.
Anyway, my regrets for the duplicate thread.
Eh, we're mostly just poking fun at the alliteration over there. :)

Splendid news. Any word on whether it's pretty much a cut/paste with just rules updated or if the content / organization / artwork is getting overhauled? Would love to see some updated art, even if a lot of the old stuff is mixed in with it.
Anyway I hope this product does well... would love to see all the APs have compilation releases eventually.

We might find out more tomorrow. However, we were told not to expect any other compilations-exact quote "Maybe in another 5 years" interrupted by "Maybe never."

It is nearly certain that there will be some updated art assets, especially in Burnt Offerings - there were a few examples of art in that adventure that were much less well-received than others.
It's also very likely that there will be updates to the content that exceed what would be necessary to simply bring it in line with PFRPG. I'm sure they will take the opportunity to change some things the second time around. It's not that often you get the chance to revisit something that you thought was a done deal, after thousands of people have tried it out and passed on their feedback.

The best way to guarantee that would be to buy a copy, and then encourage anyone you know who might also be interested to buy a copy themselves. If a product like this turns out to be very successful, it might encourage similar projects.
It's also worth noting that this product is more than a vanity release - it's an in-demand, out-of-print AP that they are updating to a new rules set. There are only four non-PFRPG Pathfinder APs.

Inner Sea Magic has the new artwork for Nualia.

The way they pitched it today was that it was a special anniversary thing. It also happens to tie in nicely with the upcoming Shattered Star AP. From what Wes said, it is extremely unlikely that they plan to issue hardback compilations of any of the other APs - although as Scott Betts mentioned above - if the RotRL reissue is hugely successful they might be inclined to reconsider.
One other bit of news from the seminar: They floated the idea of strongly discouraging certain classes from playing certain APs in the Player's Guides. Case in point was paladins in Skull and Shackles. It seemed that the Paizo staff may have been divided on the issue, but the seminar room was not - everyone thought it logical that paladins wouldn't make good pirates.

Only two of those have out-of-print volumes. Still, there's little reason to reprint the others. None have been as well received as Runelords, and there are plenty of excellent APs available now.

I own Rise of the Rulelords and Curse of the Crimson Throne (picked up piecemeal when I started getting into Pathfinder around issue 13) and I'm still looking forward to buying Rise of the Runelords again in hardback IF the price is approachable. I mean just the convenience of having it be converted to Pathfinder RPG and rebalanced is significant.
I know they've said before that it would be an enormous book, so I'm guessing the hardback will just be the adventure itself, not the support articles.

If the Shackled City AP hardback is any indication (modified, of course, by 7 years of experience) It would likely include an expansion of areas, more background information, and various improvements/corrections/revisions. I would expect the banjos in Hook Mountain Massacare to be turned down a bit*. Also, the bestiaries would likely not be needed as much, since most of the critters have since appeared in Beastiary 1-3. Classes might change as well. (Stats for non-bestiary stuff, like the Scarecrow, would likely remain.)
Still, I am chomping at the bit for this.**

Lilith aka Liz has some art of Nuala up on her page here that is likely what they are talking about.

ROTRL SPOILER....

Since we're talking about the hardcover RotRL, one question springs to mind:
Will it include the articles that often complete the AP in itself thematically? I believe the fiction and bestiary (when irrelevant to the AP itself) might get cut out, but what about the other ones? The Sandpoint article is pretty much needed to run the campaign, as is Magnimar and such, but other seem to be more in the "grey zone", like the one on dragons, or stone giants.

RotRL had amazing community support. Lots of outstanding stuff from really excited GMs who could all focus upon the same AP.
I took so many ideas from suggestions from people like Mary Yamamoto, on top of handouts, maps and suchlike.
I would love to see some of the amazing fan work included.
Someone even made a Thassilonian Runes font, They would be an awesome bonus download if paizo hosted them.

For the record, I absolutely loved Hook Mountain Massacre. It's a shame what ended up happening with Nicholas Logue, but for a couple of years there he was writing one gorgeously creepy adventure after another. There's never been anything quite like him since.

I hope the collected hardcover includes Nick's Director's Cut version of HMM... you know the one in which one half-ogre [CENSORED] his [CENSORED] using a [CENSORED].
