As a note, I'm fairly sure casting a ray spell like that provokes twice. Once for the casting and once for making the ranged attack. You avoid the first one by casting defensively, but the free ranged attack that you make should provoke no matter what you do. That's the advantage of melee touch spells over ranged touch.

Ehhh... I think that's a bit of double-jeopardy. Making a ranged attack and casting a spell are both standard actions that draw AoOs. The sorcerer isn't taking two actions. The ray (and its required attack roll) are just part of the spell effect. A wizard casting lightning bolt against a close target wouldn't draw 2 AoOs.

@ Maeve... sorry for the confusion, and I confusioned myself on the order of actions. This is how it worked, in sequence:
R3 Goti casts magic missile
R3 Maeve double moves to get behind
R4 Goti defensive casts scorching ray, 5 ft step
R4 Maeve readied action to move with
R5 Ninja stuns Maeve
R5 Goti flees
R5 Maeve stunned
Does that make sense? It took me a little bit to sort it out.

He shouldn't have had line-of-sight or line-of-effect to target that pit spell, unless he was using Improved Invis (which the other caster probably is doing.) And if he was using II, he wouldn't be visible now.

I see what you mean... I was going for LoE w/o LoS. Root cause: I detailed the room incorrectly (in game terms), in that the screens provide concealment, but no real cover. I told Harlan his target had cover, when I should have given it a miss chance (he missed the attack anyway, but still...).
Anyway, Goti is alone in the room... for now! :o)

And I just realized we've been doing Inspire Courage wrong all along- it's a Morale bonus to saves, but actually a Competence bonus to hit and damage. That means it stacks with Bless (And Good Hope later.) Oh well, score one for reading comprehension.

Yeah, at the time D20PFSRD.com and Herolab both had transcribed the ability as being just a Morale bonus - not sure where they got that from, but they've both been fixed in the X months since we started the game and it originally came up.

Equipment expended should be updated too.

What kind of damage bonus is Arcane Strike? Does it stack with the weapon's enhancement bonus? I always assumed not, but now that I read the feat, it doesn't specify.
