Maeve, I made a mistake. Ring won't stack with chaincloth cloak. You take it.
I keep thinking elven boots are a move silently boost- old school. Acrobatics is really useful, but I think Maeve and myself already have very high skill for that so if Mal doesn't want them then I vote sell.

Not a request or anything, Nomad, but were you planning to start up a S&S campaign when it comes out later this week? Good GMs being hard to find, and all.
Hehe, no plans ATM. I've been bouncing around the idea of running a 2nd PbP but I don't want to overcommit and have JR suffer. S&S would be a stretch; I'd rather run Curse of the Crimson Throne or even the updated Runelords when it comes out this summer.
I've been running a really fun Pirate PbP (Cap'n Voodoo's Freebooters) for about a year now and I'm itching for my chance at the Shackles. One of my players, the aptly named PirateDevon, offered to run it, but I think he may have already started without me??
I just looked at Ryuko's recruitment post. His "ban list" seems a tad long and restrictive, focused on nerfing barbarians and summoners. I mean, its PbP, and a Paizo AP... its not like your characters are going to reach ub3rrager power levels. I don't get it, but... to each their own.

Yeah. I can sort of understand the Wild Rager and Master Summoner (the "summon nova" can be a bit of a headache to run even though the actual overpoweredness of it is somewhat exaggerated) but the rest of it just feels like the type of GM who gets a bee in their bonnet about certain things and goes nuts.

In that vein of discussion, I've decided I'm not a fan of the current monk flurry "clarifications", and will leave it as originally written and implemented. With 2 monks in the party, I thought it might be a topic of concern. :o)
hnefatafl board and its walrus ivory pieces,
3 lucky runestones carved in chalcedony,
Gold-ringed pin brooch
Varki necklace carved from whalebone with three bone needles.
8 jade rave statuette
46 silver pieces.
A small bowl before the idol holds bits of gold jewelery and coins, while copper plates to either side of it hold the burnt remains of incense cubes.
20 blocks of incense,
a cash voucher from the Rimerunners Guild worth eighty gold,
a jade bracelet
antique ebony fan.
3 jade raven statuette
2 masterwork ninja-to (shortswords) and wakizashi,
blowgun with 8 darts,
climbers kit,
50 foot silk rope with grappling hook,
magic potion vial.
Korthor- a small, ornate raven statuette encrusted with precious stones.
two-bladed battle axe
2 MW throwing axes
small oaken statuette of a stylized ox
450 gp
ring of four keys.
Okay, welcome back! I wasn't sure, your inputs have been spotty recently, but you hinted that you were having connection problems. Being on the road will do that to you! :o)

Hmmm...just as a practical matter, we're going to need to figure out who's going to wield Suishen, though that doesn't have to be right now. This is one sword we can't just sell because everyone's too specialized in something else to make use of it.

With NomadSage's feat retraining rules, Parity can swap and rebond without expending any additional feats (just whatever retrain time the DM requires). Works well within his dedicated weapon concept, and as an added bonus could help him with his vision issues a bit.

Feat retraining? I haven't heard about this, and I currently have a feat for Improved Unarmed Strike that I really don't need anymore that I would like to be rid of if possible.

Yup, in response to Hengs question on level up a while backn. I'll let the DM weigh in, but I'm sure he'll let you swap out.
Yeah, Feat Retraining is fine with me... house rule (via 3.5 PHB2) for changing up a feat requires 2 weeks and 50 gold. Standard prerequisite requirements are still valid, and you cannot change out a feat that is a prereq for another feat you retain, nor can you retrain a bonus feat for another feat that isn't on the bonus list.
Retraining is generally background activity, but let me know when you're starting/finishing.
That make sense?
EDIT: In that vein, retraining for other things, including skill points, languages, spells and class features, are all viable, but the costs/times are different. Let me know if you ever want to pursue these.
