So, I recently picked up the deck of PF Condition cards and was a bit confused by the Confused condition. It says...
You are mentally befuddled.
You treat all creatures as neither allies nor enemies.
If you are attacked, you attack that creature until it is dead. At the beginning of your turn, roll d% to determine your action:
01-25: Act normally.
26-50: Babble incoherently.
51-75: Deal 1d8 points of damage + Str mod. to self with item in hand.
76-100: Attack nearest creature.
So...if you're attacked, does the need to attack the creature that attacked you override the need to roll d% if it hasn't died since it attacked you last? (Quite likely, as you haven't yet gotten to your action so you can't strangle it til its little head pops like a ripe melon like itshouldfordaringtoattackyouinthefirstplaceI'mnotinsaneI'mreallynot!!!!)

While confused you will defend yourself by attacking whatever attacks you first while you are confused. If nothing is currently attacking you that is still alive when your turn comes up you roll %d and do what it says. Next turn if you have not been attacked by something that is still alive (or undead as the case may be) you roll %d again.
If you are currently being attacked by something that is still attacking you fight back and do not have to roll dice. So, the fighter that attacks the creature the wizard just confused is not helping... just like the rogue that attacks the hypnotized, fascinated, or sleeping target without a killing one shot blow.
Two confused targets standing next to each other will be pretty quickly attacking each other. And casting Confusion into a formation of orcs quickly leads to a brawl with all the orcs attacking each other.

Thank you. I thought that was how it worked, but wasn't sure. Hehehehe, I like the idea of Orcs randomly slaughtering each other. Interesting idea, cast Confusion on the inside of a crowded tavern. Or a city hall while a town meeting is in session... I'm not evil, just misunderstood. <.< >.>

What I admit I do not understand is what happens when several confused ones get thrown into the mix.
Orc A (rolls) (attacks next creature, being Orc B)
Orc B (strikes Back)
Now A and B are pretty busy fighting one another.
Orc C (rolls) (attacks next creature, being Orc B as well)
Question is, whom will B attack? The one who attacked it first? The one who attacked it last? The one who actually hit it last? Roll randomly?

"If a confused creature is attacked, it attacks the creature that last attacked it until that creature is dead or out of sight."
