i was curious what deities would be covered in the pirate ap, i think after jade regent the "core" twenty deities will be covered (they already didi torag right) hopefully cause its based in the shackles they would have besmara but i'm at a loss for number two. i am a big fan of sean k reynolds work and can't wait to see what he does for non core deities. another possibility would be re-printing previous deity entries before the new system was nailed down (from rotrl, lof and cotct). what does everyone else want or think (and if james or wes or someone wants to elaborate that'd be dandy, but not till after gen con as i'm sure everyone is too busy or don't want to give it away till after gen con:).

They usually seem to pick opposites, so I'd guess Achaekek, since Mediogalti is so close to the action, or another devil, like the Mammon article. Or maybe Charon, but I doubt it since BoD3 is due sooner.
It's also possible they'll break the pattern and go with something different. In which case, I'd like an article on rules for running a church or monastery, like the kingdom rules in Kingmaker or the ecology of a thieves' guild from Council of Thieves, not that that has much of anything to do with pirates. Or maybe something like a look at the soul economy of the lower planes, and sacrifices, since this AP sounds like it will have a Slavers feel.

I think that Torag and Norgorber are the last two major deities that they have yet to do articles for (not counting the ones yet to be done in Jade Regent...Shelyn and Irori).
Correct; with Skull & Shackles, we'll be doing articles on Torag and Norgorber, and THEN we're done with the core 20.

(planting hand to forehead) thats right!, sorry getting abit ahead of myself :). keep up the good work!. also can't wait for the torag article (even if it's hard not to make him moradin 2.0, tho im sure sean can accomplish making him different) not that theirs anything wrong with moradin.

Besmara. Yes, she'll have a deity article as well. There'll be 3 of them in this AP, just like in Serpent's Skull (which had one for Nethys, Gozreh, and Ydersius).
