Since Quests currently do not get reported, Ambush in Absalom was not added to the list to avoid confusion. If we decide to track people's play of Quests down the line, we'll add all of them to the list of events at that time.

Works for me - I was asking because I ran it this weekend and it does have a Chronicle sheet with some very cool boons on it. I gave the Chronicle sheets out. I just wanted to make sure the players got credit for it.

The chronicle sheet does need to be cleaned up a bit, it leaves XP and PA open without explanation, I was guessing that they probably earned 0 and 0 but wasn't sure.

It is a killer little adventure.

Yeah it needs a rule explanation added to the Chronicle sheet, also I am assuming unlike other Boons that the Boons on these GM can take.

Actually, I don't think a GM gets the boons.

But there is nothing else on the Chronicle Sheet for the GM to get, though.

Correct.

I believe a GM runs a Quest for the fun of GMing, often using it as an introduction to PFS for players, or as a stop-gap when there is not enough time for a full scenario (ex when a scenario ends unexpectedly early).

Given the text for the quest sidebar, it sounds like the GMJ should receive the boon choice, as well:

Quote:

A legal

Pathfinder Society PC may receive
a Chronicle for completing
a Quest as many times as he
completes it, and a game master
may likewise apply a Chronicle
to any of his characters when
running a Quest. Each Quest
Chronicle grants a single-use
boon or ability, each of which
may be played once per scenario.

My impression is that the GM gets nothing, GM's don't get boons. This isn't the only sheet that provides GM's with little to no reward. I didn't do it for the boons.

However, a little cash, enough to cover a wayfinder would have been cool to reward players with.

Since you can replay it over and over, it can't have XP or cash, since then people could use it to mine for gold. Once you've run it once and aren't surprised, it's not that tough of a fight.

Adding an item to the Chronicle wouldn't be bad, though, since it just gives you more options to spend your regular wealth on without allowing for replay abuse. Maybe for future Quests?
