As for the relationship, given how long they were together, makes sense to me that Olivier and Camille slept together.
On a ties note, Olivier isn't exactly spectacular at fighting, but he's willing to take a beating and enjoys the act of fighting. So yeah, the swordsmen are way, way better in a brawl than he is =P
I imagine Luciano and Olivier ran into each other at a party or two. Maybe they dueled, maybe not, but once Olivier initiated some sort of mayhem, Luciano would be quick to join in. Having felt very constrained by the deadly connotations of breaching etiquette in Vodacce, Luciano probably finds the wild hedonism of Paix as an intriguing outlet. It's less because he's an anarchic character and more because he takes non-Vodacce culture less seriously. That said, while Luciano would take part in brawls, he does not start them. Furthermore, he does not kill or maim unless it's over a point of honor or self-defense. This may change now that he is bound to the task of finding Giovanni Falisci's missing son.
With apologies for the delay, I've finally put up a character sheet in my profile. As his background suggests, Gaspar's role in the church is primarily as a spy: he's a devout priest and a true believer, but his usefulness to the Vaticine has been spying on lords and churches rather than in more public roles.

Since I didn't see any obvious problems with anyone's characters I decided to go ahead and make the first IC post early. If there are any questions regarding it, just ask. I figure that dinner will be a decent chance to first get to know each other and it will be clear that you will all be given fresh mounts to ride out on in the morning so don't panic if you haven't bought a horse.
I updated Luciano's skills to reflect his Mondavi advantage. Basically, I purchased the Guide skill from the Vodacce sourcebook, spent two more points on Courtier knacks, and brought his Dirty Fighting to 3. I also altered his history to include his time in Paix and added an appearance and equipment tab to the sheet. Moving over to the IC thread now...
@Joy: Sooner or later we will probably need to roll some dice. I don't think this board supports the 7th Sea system of rolling dice, though. Where do you want us to roll them?
Is there a reason we can't just roll them here and type the total manually? So if you have 4k3 you roll 4d10s then add the two highest rolls together and write in your total?
Example:
Total: (8+8+9) = 25
Or am I missing something?
It will require a little bit more effort than the Pathfinder games do, but it's not difficult. I envisioned it like Olivier mentioned above, plus everyone will have to either preview or edit their posts when rolling dice in order to correctly add however many exploding 10s that they may roll.
Also something to note, 7th sea does a lot of back and forth during combat so it might be slightly slower than some other pbp games people are used to. But they also tend to resolve a bit quicker than combats in other games and there tends to be more to do between combats. I expect that it'll take a bit for everyone to get used to, but we should be able to work something out after a bit of trial and error.

Just a heads up...I will be out of town for a few days starting tomorrow (Tuesday, July 26th). I am not entirely sure of my internet situation while traveling (my smartphone has been acting wonky), but I am still expecting to be able to post at least once a day. If for some reason I am not able to, it's not because I'm neglecting the game, but rather due to difficulty accessing internet. In any case, I'll be back on the 31st and should be able to resume regular posting activity at that time.
Lately with some changes in my life I've had to juggle a jixed amount of time in a day among an increasing number of things to do. I have to cut some things. Therefor I can't guarantee posting every day anymore. But I don't want to slow down the game for the rest of you so I will say goodbye.
