Just curious how other DMs deal their players selling art items or gems that they have not successfully appraised?
Do you give them part value? Full value?
Just curious as to how others feel the fairest way to deal with this that does not negate the need for Appraise.

I have the dealer they are selling to act like Pawn Stars on history. But no matter what, if they are ripping the PCs off or giving them 75% of final price, I still have them roll a sense motive and roll a dice (even if not bluffing/ripping the players off)
