Hey all,
It seems a glaring error has been made when creating the Arch-vilain for this arc of the Carrion Crown AP.
Unless I'm missing something, Aureen Vrood caster level should be 10th level, not 11th so he should not have access to that many spells & especially, he should not have access to 6th level spells since the 1st level of his Prestige Class do not grant a +1 CL.
I have to say I'm very disapointed to see such an error on the MAIN NPC for this part of the AP, especially since you're using material you guys created yourself, it seems such an easy mistake to spot and correct ...
If you guys need more proof readers & stat checkers ...
And BTW, this is not a new problem in the gaming industry & you guys are not the worst offenders in that domain, in which I include RPG, Boardgames & Video games.
I don't know if It's because the target audience for such items are usually younger people that won't complain too much about the overall quality of the products offered by the industry, it seems that some quality standard were sacrified to save $$$ & still be deliver the products on schedule, ready or not.
Just ask yourselves this, over the years, how many times did you buy a video game that needed patching before working corretly, how many times you had to wait for the errata or an expansion for you to be able to enjoy your new boardgame.
Sorry if I come across a bit harsh on this but I've been a Gamer for over 30 years & I'm getting tired of this complacent attitude that seems to dominate our industry, even more today.
Thanks

Actually, it seems more likely that the statblock is right, and the PrC writeup has an error.
The PrC says:
Spells per Day/Spells Known: When a new agent of the Grave level is gained, the character gains new spells as if he had also gained a level in a spellcasting class he belonged to before adding the prestige class.
However, other PrCs that don't get CL every level, have a different text:
eg. Holy Vindicator from APG:
Spells per Day: At the indicated levels, a vindicator gains new spells
per day as if he had also gained a level in a divine spellcasting class
he belonged to before adding the prestige class.
See the difference? My money is on an error in the PrC.

This has already been addressed here:

I can't access the link. What does it say ?
Did they make a mistake on the PrC stat block & it should have +1 CL at 1st level or gave corrected stats for Aureen ?
Thanks
