Jason Bulmahan killed my Barbarian yesterday - my proudest moment ever.

There's a long story (it was in the Cursed Lot game) - but suffice it to say, Rage + Damage + Unconciousness = Dead Barbarian.

The jist of the answer to the "when will we see an AP to other planets?" was effectively "probably before you'll see epic or psionic rules." They certainly didn't rule it out, but they still seem to be in the stages of just collecting and ruminating on cool ideas (Erik Mona mentioned some of the pulp fiction books he's been reading that will almost certainly be an influence), not nearly to the point where they were ready to start outlining or even have it on the schedule for the next couple of years. Again, this isn't verbatim, but the jist that I got from the overall conversation.

The AP will be starting with the PCs being kidnapped and pressed into slavery on a pirate ship. They are currently looking at having ALL gear stripped from them, a step harsher than the ship wreck at the start of Serpent Skull. That's right, nothing but a loin cloth and a harsh conditions. As the players progress, they'll gain status, eventually get their own ship, perhaps there will be a naval hex crawl like Kingmaker. There will probably be a pirate contest to gain political status amongst the pirates in the Shackles, involving a race braving the edge of the Eye of Abendago. They said they were certainly still in the outline stages, but most of this was pretty sure.

There was a few minutes of discussion about paladins and this AP. Nothing is firm, but they were likely going to recommend that paladins not be played in this one, but provide some tips about how to handle it if you ignore their advice on that point.

At the secrets of Golarion panel, when someone asked about the planets, Erik did a lot of shushing to the panel team so obviously some big secret is coming soon.

Erik did reveal that something on Golarion that isn't known as a way to get to the planets will end up being revealed as a way to the planets. He wouldn't reveal what it was but I think we might get more in an AP or module soon.

The first few are available in the Know Direction podcast feed. I'll be releasing them daily for the next 22 days (unless I burn out and miss a day. Take Justin's advice, pestering generates results).
