Hey Aron (if you're out there) - given that you have this game starting up, do you still want to be considered for my homebrew? I have enough good posts over there to go with, and honestly it's clear you've put a lot of time into that concept, so I didn't want to assume that you still want a spot if taking this game has filled your schedule up too much. The first question that would need to be resolved is, since Dzae left the circus several years ago did your character:
A. Leave at the same time and we've been traveling together ever since or
B. Leave some time later and either intentionally or not met up with Dzae and has traveled with him since or
C. Leave either quite recently or a while ago but runs into Dzae in Riddleport?Any of the three would be fine with me. 2nd question: What was your role in the circus? Since Dzae grew up there he did various acts including acrobatics, juggling and knife throwing. Let me know so we can weave our stories together.
Dzae, how long ago did you leave the circus? Reading your background it looks like you were taken in by your gnome parents 110 years ago and you left when they died. Khun-dun is 70 years old, and I'm thinking he left the Darklands for the surface about 30 years ago (just as he reached full adulthood) and was taken in by the circus shortly thereafter. During his time with the circus he served as a blacksmith/weaponsmith for the troupe, and befriended Zarzuket, Neji, Dzae, and maybe a few others. Perhaps Khun-duhn even forged Dzae's daggers for his friend. Khun-duhn stayed with the circus for a while after Dzae left, but departed not long after. He spend several years in a monastery in the Kodar Mountains in northern Varisia, and is now traveling to Riddleport in a Varisian caravan. Does that work for you?

Took me a second to remember what they were called, but I found this list of proxy sites. I tested one and it allowed me to open paizo, but I'm not sure how it will fare vs. the blocking software.. You can try, at least.

Alright, I've got a synopsis of Khun-duhn's background up on his profile. It's still kind of bare-bones and needs to be fleshed out, but I think it's enough right now to convey the gist of where he's been, how he knows Dzae, and how he arrived in Riddleport.
I just revised my background to include Khun-duhn. I believe we are good to go.

Oh and those Proxy sites? Aint workin too great, but thanks anyway MeMori. They get me on the site to view it, but the instant I try to log in / move around they lock up.
Ah well. I can post from my phone if its important :P It will just be a pain in that ass. And we have a pair of breakroom PCs at work that I can at least VIEW the site on, and plan a posting.

I have to admit to minor irritation ; the reason my description mentions a hood, and my intro post mentions the hood, is that it's not meant to be blatantly obvious that I'm a goblin.

Hey Toz, Like AK, I did not intend to cause a problem. As I said in my post I did note that you were hooded and hiding. I attempted to draw a clear line of attention from turning around due to Marcellus' elbow to noticing Trista's beauty and seeing Toz next to her at the moment the hood slipped open. I would gladly roll perception but to keep things simple I'll just retcon it. I can certainly hold Dzae's suspicion off until later when Toz is truly revealed.

The hood slipping off did occur before we went to the Golden Goblin - which I could have specified more clearly. That was my bad.

Actually would be a interesting roleplaying if they had met and gotten long as friends and perhaps he grows a greater attachment but can't tell her about her feelings?
