Night and day Cycle

Rules Questions

How do You handle "day & night cycle"?

My proposition for Golarion is:

5:00-6:00 dawn (dim light always)
6:00 - 19:00 dzień
19:00 - 20:00 twilight (dim light always)
20:00 - 5:00 night (dim light sometimes)

What do You think?

My proposition for Golarion is:

5:00-6:00 dawn (dim light always)
6:00 - 19:00 day (full daylight)
19:00 - 20:00 twilight (dim light always)
20:00 - 5:00 night (dim light sometimes)

What do You think?

Corrected for you ;)

And seriously, this really depends upon region and time of year. As James Jacobs stated somewhere on the boards, they intend Golarion to have the same astrophysical qualities as Earth because they want it to mimic gravity, weather and, amongst the others time without risking astronomically unrealistic features.
The table you have presented would work for late spring and early autumn at the latitudes close to Poland, judging from length of day and night. Which would be probably in northern Avistan - but I am not sure on what latitude map northern map border actually is so it would have to be checked (it was mentioned in one thread or the other).

We play in Stolen Lands, near River Kingdoms.

It could be just right. Depending on the time of year, of course. I would have to wait till dusk to see when its getting dark now, in late spring but I think that twilight lasted longer than 20:00.

Not sure if this will be of use to you, but I have this site bookmarked as a tool for determining just exactly what you're talking about. You have to make your own judgments about where exactly the Inner Sea Region is in relation to regular Earth land masses, but once you've made that judgment call this handy device gives you a really specific set of daylight hours by date. Very handy.
