Marra set Qalaus down (standard action) when she landed last round. (Riding an eidolon like a mount requires an evolution, and is only available for quadrupeds.) Marra moved this past round, but Qalaus stayed put, in however deep that part of the oasis is.
EDIT: Looking back, I neglected to mention Marra setting Qalaus down. Can he take care of getting to the ground this round as a move action? (If she has to drop him from a height, he'll spend a swift action on featherfall so that he doesn't have to worry about a Concentration check.)

Hm. I'm (from/in) Texas. Funny thing how it spans 2-3 time zones. Central Time like most people here seem to be. I can usually only post in the afternoon due to the...unique situation of my internet access. (That is, I don't have wireless, and given the location of our ethernet ports, I can't use it late at night at risk of waking people.)

Sorry for not posting something sooner, guys. I'm in the hospital with my infant. She had to have surgery early this morning to correct a bad infection and she is now in the process of going through an antibiotic regimen. I should be able to post since I can do nothing sit here hoping the s&%& works. Will help keep my mind in the right place. Looks like things are going to work, but it's going to take a couple of days to tell how well.

That is really harsh, hope she gets better. I remember having to wait with my son for hours and hours because he had gotten into a bottle of tylenol and it takes like three hours for them to test acetaminophen levels. Hospitals always have the worst chairs too (except the maternity ward, thank god)
By the way, how is the map working out for people?
Bilbo: Does Jack move this turn or stay put? Oh wait, I suppose you would have needed to stand huh, lol.

Bilbo Bang-Bang |

She still has a high fever, but the it comes and goes with the Tylenol they have been giving her. Kids man, give ya a heart attack about every other day.
I'm confused as to where I was to begin with, haha. I assumed I was grappled wiggled loose, and was given the go ahead on a full action. I may have to adjust my post a little if this is not the case.
Map is working great.

Being invisible will deny any enemy I target their Dex bonus correct? So when I shoot I should get my sneak attak bonus, but become visible, right? Wanting to formulate my actions for next round and not violate some rules. Also, I am not going to the prone for the sake hiding in the pony, just jammed in close.

You are correct. They are flat-footed, and when you fire you lose the invisibility.
And I suppose for a halfling a pony would be as good as cover.

You're just lucky I didn't think to have all the scorpions try and flat out initiate grapples on you earlier. It wasn't until the last round I was like, "Wait a second...they don't need to claw him to grapple. They can just do it as a standard action. Then his armor won't mean a thing!" But you killed 'em all ;)

Heh. Give it time. Jack's luck wasn't so hot this battle, and Theo was on fire. I sure don't see anything unbalanced about firearms so far, though. Flare is nifty, and I guess I see why some people would be mad about mundane blinding (since it's a powerful status effect) but misfires are scary.
Didn't know ranged weapons worked with Vital strike, though. That's neat. I'm playing a 'slinger soon, I'm gonna have to remember that.

I've been crappin' pants every time I roll. Those specialty rounds up the mifire chance by at least 1. Nothing like not having to roll and being able to hit, but rolling a 3 or below and having the thing blow up in your face, lol. Blindness and dazzled are nice, but they last only for 1 round. But, it has saved my arse and makes for fun writing. I agree everyone here has done more dmg in a single strike than I did in 2 and I am using entire rounds to load and fire.
I would have to play a 9th level Gunslinger to make a fair assessment of their true potentialand next time I will. At 7th level it looks like they get some real nasty tricks.

Yeah, it's a nifty class, but it's the first time a base class has been built around a weapon. Between that and the apparent homogenity of them, it seems kind of strange. But if you're in a setting/group where they're not common, they bring something different.
Didn't realize the stuff was only 1 round. That's a shame, but probly good for balance...

Well, monks are built around unarmed fighting. I'm rather fond of my idea.

Like it! I actually really like the Gunslinger and think it is a good way to make Pathfinder something other than a re-skinned d&d.

My logic was, what class specializes in a specific fighting style at the expense of other weapons. What class provides bonus feats towards that style. What class has an existing point based pool system used to pull of extraordinary feats. I think the flurry of blows mechanic fits perfectly, it makes sense a gunslinger would be more accurate when they don't move.

Yeah, that's totally cool. I am, for what it's worth, going to be on the high seas for a week, starting in...6 days, I think? I don't want to hold up the game too much, but I can't really post for that week, so...it happens, I guess.
Also, neat tidbit for our resident gunslinging rogue: Part of the Blinded status effect makes creatures lose their dex bonus to AC, hence opening them to Sneak Attack.

Irulesmost |

Part of it was probably my fault, being out of town and without internet for the past week. Obviously, it's possible to run things with one or two derelict players, but the face-y guy leaving in the middle of a social interaction makes stuff pretty weird.
Anyhow, it started to slow a bit before that, too, but such is life. Ready and waiting :)

So I guess we are on pause. Well it was fun while it lasted. I will keep an eye on the thread just in case it fires back up.
On a side note, great playing with all of you. Scipion, best of luck to you sir, I hope your load lightens in the coming months and if you decide to start things back up, I'll be ready.
