Sovereign Court

I'm after something that I can add to my 9th level Kobold Priest's spell list that is similar to the 3rd level Bard spell Good Hope. The closest I can find are Prayer or Bless. Both of which are quite underwhelming at this level.

3.5 content and PF material are fair game, however 3rd Party Publisher material must be presented to the DM as a "new write-up" to be used.

Any suggestions, besides having a slotted item crafted that has x/day charges?

...is there perhaps a way to it as a spell-like ability?

Also: Deity is Sarenrae (Sun/Healing domains).

If only there was some kind of subdomain that Sarenrae had that was called Heroism.

Is it possible to switch out your Domains? Healing is a subpar choice.

Glory with Heroism subdomain? Completely b$**+in' choice.

edit: Wow, thoguht you meant Heroism, not Good Hope. Heroism is like half-good hope.

Unfortunately I'm staring at a 1.2 to 6 ratio for healer:others, instead of the 1:4 which is ideal. We have one Ranger with a CLW wand that I'm factoring in at a generous 0.2 contribution (he mostly uses it on himself). Therefor I'm relying upon Healer's Blessing as an asset, with the metamagic feat Reach Spell it helps.

Hehe, no worries :)

The standard advice is that it's better to buff or try to incapacitate the enemy, rather than healing your wounded teammates. Heal them if they're down, but otherwise, there's generally a better thing to do than heal in combat, which is the big point of Healing domain.

Remember, a fighter fights just as well at 100 HP as at 1 HP.

I have a bard in a party of 6-8, and we did fine with me being the only healer, and just with Wands of CLW at that.

I'd give it some thought. Check this out if you haven't already.

Oh, I definitely understand the attrition value in combat. I'm just trying to see if I missed something besides Elation and Blessing of Fervor that might do one of two things: last longer than "rounds per caster level" or that might cover a few more bases within a single spell/use. I want to tip that attrition value in our favor a bit more, so I can do exactly that: heal less.

I did run across a Standard of Heroism (Complete Warrior, p136) though. It's 40,000gp however, so it's a start - in terms of setting a goal, anyways. Also, our arcane caster in the group is a Summoner - and he's not contributing to any sort of "controlling" role anytime soon, unfortunately. It's just not his play style.
