T-T-T-T-TRIPLE COMBO!
The adventure has begun! Do introduce yourselves to one another.
Also, my profile will contain a list of all the information, people you meet, and a journal. (thanks to Zyren for giving me ideas on how to organise)
EDIT: I should have specified my intent with the "having met Garavel already" deal. I apologise. Alfred and Sihdrin, you mentioned earlier you may have known each other prior - may I play on this element to fix my own failure to communicate?
DM Patcher || Crown of Dawn |
I feel blind. I looked to my backstory for meeting with Garavel, and it's my fault - editting my post.
I apologise, it's just a little frustrating. I'm also a little stressed. I appreciate that you're editing your post, though. Thank you.
I'm sorry for being clumsy here in the beginning.

Here is the spell that I want to have, custom, instead of Burning Disarm.
Freezing Disarm
School transmutation [cold]; Level cleric/oracle 1, druid 1, sorcerer/wizard 1
CASTING
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S
EFFECT
Range Short (25 f. + 5 f./2 levels)
Target Held metal item of one creature
Duration Instantaneous
Saving Throw Reflex negates
DESCRIPTION
This spell causes a metal object to instantly become freezing cold. A creature holding the item may attempt a Reflex save to drop it and take no damage (even if it is not their turn), otherwise the frigid metal deals 1d4 points of cold damage per caster level (maximum 5d4). Circumstances that prevent the creature from dropping the item (such as a locked gauntlet) mean the creature gets no saving throw. The cold does not harm the item, and it does not get cold enough or last long enough to freeze objects. The item warms up to its previous temperature almost instantly. If cast underwater, freezing disarm deals half damage and brings the surrounding water to arctic levels of cold.

Hazem, if you ever feel like I am interfering with you running your character, let me know, and I will stop. But so far, the story seems to support Alfred's fatherly attitude.
ermm.. not sure I know what you mean? I have no issues with the way Alf and Hazem are interacting..

If that ever changes, please let me know. I don't want to step on toes.
Hazem Al Kareem |
bah, you won't have to worry about stepping on toes with me. I play characters as they develop on the fly, and not necessarily along a pre-determined path. I find it is a lot more fun when you make stuff up as you go... You do/react how you think Alfred will react, I think that's all anyone can ask for..

I am moving tomorrow, and won't have internet until Friday. If I don't post on Friday, that means that my ISP failed to give me internet on time. If this happens, I won't be able to post as often as I would like (as I will have to visit somebody else to borrow their internet). I apologise in advance should this problem arise. I certainly hope it won't.

hey guys.. Ruven's still medium, right? Hazem couldn't ride him, even if he wanted to..
Dont look at me I aint the animal lover haha :P
EDIT: Arg a friend just gifted me the Genius Guide to the Mystic Godlings PDF...and the VERY FIRST ABILITY I see that either type (adept or eldritch) can take is the ability to alter your spells energy type to another when cast, without any penalty! BAH
Marketus Jackson |
With our DMs blessing, Marketus has gone under 1 more change.
He is now an Adept Godling. What this means for you all? NOTHING! He kept the blindness and create water so what you have seen of him thus far has not changed :D
But he is a little more....in theme....with what I wanted originally :D

Mistake on my part. To save time navigating Paizo's rather extensive website I had bookmarked this and the gaming thread. Unfortunately, the bookmark for this thread seems to have been pulling a cached version of the page and so I never saw anything past my post from June 1st. I had assumed that everyone had just stopped posting here and it was only a few hours ago that I noticed the error and saw the last 20 some posts. Sorry about that; it's fixed now.

I am sad that Khasud vanished. I will give him until I go to bed (around 5-6 hours) to get back here - otherwise I'm afraid I will have to boot him from the campaign.
In the unfortunate circumstance that he is removed, would you prefer to carry on as 5, or should I find a replacement?
If he is removed, I will merely retcon it so that he was never there to begin with rather than come up with some half-arsed excuse as of why he isn't there.

Hey Patcher
I looked at your two Legacy of Fire games and this looked to be like the one you wanted me for so here I am. I'm the recruit, though currently my profile is at level 2 but I'll quickly adjust it tomorrow morning and be ready to go.
DM Patcher || Crown of Dawn |
Well, I already found a replacement, so say hello to Saarah.
I'll introduce Saarah in due time, she won't spontaneously appear where Khasud is. When you reach the main expedition, she will be there. So please wait with posting in the topic until you're meant to be introduced, Saarah.
I am sad to make this official, but Khasud is now no longer part of the Crown of Dawn Legacy of Fire group due to his two week absence without informing us as of why. I hope to hear from him, though, as I was quite happy to have him with us.
