Shocking Grasp - seems to the best spell for pure damage, up 5d6, up to 10d6 intensified
Arcane Mark - grants you an extra attack through Spell Combat without having any other impact (although it's kind of stylish)
Close Ranged Ray of Frost - deals an extra 1d3 and is a bit less cheesy than Arcane Mark
Touch of Fatigue - usable each round, weak debuff, not on the magus list
Ghoul Touch - SoS, not on the magus list
What other spells are useful?

Is calcific touch out? (or in fact, a number of necromancy debuffs etc)
Also, I had not in any way considered arcane mark. WOW that's classy!
Edit: Vampiric touch is on the Magus spell list, and it's nice. I mean, landing a maximized vampiric touch as part of spellstrike can be a real tide-turner. And then, disintegrate is a 6th level Magus spell. Obviously depends on the magus, but if you pump save DCs, then it can be a pretty nifty bosskiller.

It is USUALLY a decreased chance of hitting, but unless I'm wrong, spell combat doesn't use wpn enhancments, but spellstrike does. So if you're fighting someone decked out in plate mail or w/e, you can use your debuffs/vampirings as a touch attack, but if it's a monk or wizard or something, spellstrike it.
That's a thing I like about Magus. Even though it's a prepare-spells caster, there are a LOT of decisions you can make on the fly: Do I maximize, do I make this spell as a touch, a ranged touch, or part of a spellstrike? What spells do I arcane recall? What enhancement bonuses should I give my sword for this encounter? Ah, it's loverly.
Edit: Oh, and as part of a duel, I rather like
Round 1: Delay initiative -> Spell combat (spell, then attacks) (bull's strength)
Round 2: Spellstrike (Ray of enfeeblement)
Or
Health < 50%: Spell combat (attacks, then spell) (true strike)
Spellstrike (Spell on first hit) (Max'd Vampiric touch)

Calcific touch would grant one extra attack per level, it's freaking awesome... It's not on the Magus list, but it's a must for sure.
Spellstrike only grants one extra attack. It doesn't matter how many attacks the spell allows. It's still nice to deal 1d4 points of dexterity damage per round (with a chance to slow the target).

That's what I thought, but u get a free touch, and can keep on casting spells.
