I believe that mixing vodka and energy drinks is the pastime of philistines, and degrades the nobility of the cocktail.
Just something in the 'Ask James Jacobs' thread that made me feel better. It has been a hard week all around.
I believe it's a detriment when other people know you're lawful. Then they feel they can use you as a sounding board for all their problems and then turn around and ask me not to say anything. And like any lawful individual I'll do it, I'll keep their secrets and give them advice and then have a bad week because it gnaws on you when you can't say anything, yanno? I mean, I've got the wisdom score to give advice like this but sometimes I really need to talk to someone to know for sure that the advice I give is good. And I can't.
I believe that is what far-away internet contacts are for.

I believe you are correct TruthWine. Unfortunately, I was asleep for about 4 1/2 hours before that. Had I been awake all night partying/on CQ/graveyard shift that would be a manticore of a different template.

I believe working third shift screws up your weekend.
I usually wake up at 4:00 on Sats, too, but I drank a lot last night. Still I had to force myself to stay in bed until around ten. Otherwise, I'll fall asleep during my name tonight...
I believe you are also right, my dear Communerd. Having worked a few eaaarly shifts this week m'self I WAS looking foreward to sleeping in. I guess I will have to do it tomorrow...

I believe red wine is the best way to get through awkward family get-togethers. I believe lots of red wine is the absolute best way to dealing with posturing between Mom and her mother-in-law.
I believe I have ahd a great deal of red wine. I believe cabernet is gooood.
I believe I may have missed the whole point of "beliefs before drinking". After drinking counts, right?

I believe it's interesting to see the differences in reactions when various well known people express their opinions about certain situations.
Like when someone expresses an opinion on something they are no expert in? Or just when a famous, or infamous, person sticks their foot in their mouth?

I guess it all depends on the celebrity, opinion and your view on the subject. I believe I will never spend a cent on any project Janinny Garofailo is involved in due to her bigoted rhetoric. Considering her recent career, it is an easy belief to have =P

Both actually. It's interesting to see how aspects of society treat celebrity, depending on who they are, what they say, and who's doing the reacting.

I agree wrt that particular celebrity, but then I never cared much for her to begin with. But there are other celebrities (DiCaprio and Hanks for example) that despite me not agreeing with things they say, I still enjoy seeing movies with them.

Oh sure. If I practiced political purity litmus tests on my artistic likes, I believe I would be a very bored monkey. In fact, I believe that more than 90% of Pathfinder developers and 3pp folks are diametrically opposed to me politically. This doesn't mean I can't enjoy their products. Same with music. I believe listening solely to the Motor City Madman on my iBorg would be quite boring after a while. Movies as well. Sean Penn is a good actor, but I believe I'd love to tell him personally I think he is a hopeless liberal douchebag. Doesn't mean I can't watch Fast Times At Ridgemont High every so often. The artist is not the art.
Frank Miller draws a mean graphic novel. I believe he has now royally f!@*ed himself by stating his opinion on the OWS movement, because I believe that Hell hath no fury like a liberal ideal scorned. I believe he wont have much commercial success from now on, and that is too bad.
Lifts a tumbler of scotch
Slainte, Mr. Miller. Best of luck with the oncoming liberal s*!@storm you have unleashed upon yourself.

The artist is not the art.
Not to knock you off your high horse, but 99% of the populace seems to already agree -- or else Mel "I hate all the dirty jews" Gibson wouldn't have grossed over $100M with Apocalypto.
I should also point out that Miller's rant reads, approximately, "Al Qaida is the real enemy and therefore there is no Wall Street corruption," which isn't so much anti-liberal as it is anti-logic.

I believe...
As GM and as I have an appreciation for those little dramatic touches that I should be incorporating more drinking into my games.
Hear me out.
The dinner party involved white wine all around save for the villain Estovion. I gave him a glass of red. And the entire dinner party was spent bandying veiled threats and comments back and forth between villain and PC. I really wish I had thought ahead and poured myself a glass of cab as a prop. And because cab is good.
I have planned ahead for tonight. When my PC gets bitten by werewolves I will be pouring myself that blood-red Werewolf brand beer. And I have already told her what it means when I do.
I'm thinking I should plan more props like that. Red wine for vampires (I never drink... wine...), thick stouts for welcoming inns, thin cheap beer for wary townships, maybe a disturbing-looking cocktail for Adivion Adrissant as my PC watches in horror as he drinks the elixir...
Am I thinking too much? I don't use minis (no room) and I prefer it when my PC can suspend disbelief with minimal effort. And when I can suspend my own disbelief I'm able to spin description like a master.

I believe....BACON!!!!
There's always the fight over whether or not Canadian Bacon is bacon or not.
After all, Canadian Bacon comes from the back and standard bacon the belly. If they're both bacon then why not just call the whole hog bacon? Except the hams, they're ham.

I believe I have had a long day and will reward myself with dinner with two of my most favorite women in my life my wife and my grandmother having dinner at a very nice french bistro where I will enjoy a cocktail then a pleasant dinner and conversation as well as a glass of red more than likely a Rhone wine ... perhaps even a Chateauneuf-du-Pape. For dinner I may even have some red meat like a hanger steak with pomme frites.

I believe - DAMN, those trolls have been busy in the last few hours. Hide Feature, don't fail me now!
I believe that you use the word "troll" differently from everyone else. I believe normally it implies an intent "of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion." Therefore, most off-topic discussions, and particularly the ones in which people are actually discussing issues, don't fall under the definition.
