My ex stopped when teeth started........ chewing.

I believe I posted in the wrong spot. Oops

Scarab Sages

I believe that on this rather gorgeous Sunday I will, to borrow a phrase from Patrick, decapitate my lawn. Hopefully, this will be the last time I need to do so until spring.

I believe whomever drank all the coffee needs to be slapped.

I believe bergamot is disgusting. Relying on old earl grey tea from the back of the cupboard is making me sad.

Yep. :-)

Scarab Sages

I believe that it sucks to wait too long before trying to get in touch with an old friend. :(

Liberty's Edge

What happened?

Scarab Sages

One of my old fraternity brothers passed away last Sunday. Knew he had been sick, and sent a few FB messages, but had neglected to try and call and talk to him. Sucks, but nothing I can do about it now except try to talk to my old friends more often.

Liberty's Edge

Yeah, that's always tough. Sorry to hear that. :(

Scarab Sages

Thanks.

Sad but true, though - since I moved to Philly I've been bad about keeping in touch with old friends. That's something I'm going to try and change.

Scarab Sages

I believe I'm looking forward to the upcoming 3-day weekend.

I believe I am too! I also believe that I picked up enough shifts to cover the lost time. I believe that Friday will be a good day to get some overdue writing done

I believe that, although I have to work Friday, the fact that it is a double-time-and-a-half day makes everything all right. That and the fact that I already booked off Monday!

Scarab Sages

I believe that the hide thread feature is still kicking ass! F%!# you troll threads! I don't even see you!

I believe after the train-wreck of the past few days, Evil Lincoln has made my day.

I believe my shift is almost over! Huzzah!

Scarab Sages

I believe it's the last day of this work week for me!

I believe that tomorrow three of my members are up for disciplinary hearings. I believe this is great! I believe it's gonna rule to get paid $30/hr to sit in the office and talk about why Johnny X can't get to work on time!

I believe my shift IS over!

HUZZAH!

Let the three-day weekend begin!

*splat*

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Dark Archive

I bleieve I am jealous of everyone else I need to go to work tommorrow and I am not getting paid 30/hr to talk about other people and why they can't get to work heck I am not even getting 30/hr I need a raise.

But the weekend starts tomorrow at least and I should have a good dinner tonight at Lodge.

Shadow Lodge

I believe it is awesome that my wife is heading to Colorado to spend time with her grandma, who is on the way out.

Scarab Sages

I believe having to get my kid in the car to drive in the cold rain so we can pick his mommy up at work later tonight is going to suck ass.

Shadow Lodge

I believe I need to avoid stupid Facebook arguments.

I believe, like that song in the Book of Mormon.

TOZ wrote:

TOZ wrote:

You don't even believe in unicorns. That's just sad.

I shot al the unicon's.
and zues turned me into Taliban.

I believe gnomes are so much smaller than humans, they get really drunk when they drink as much as their Cayden Cailean-worshiping friends.

I believe ignorance must be bliss...and some trolls prove it with every post.

Scarab Sages

I believe there is profound truth in your words, Jester-san.

Shadow Lodge

I believe I am blissfully unaware much of the time.

I did something right? I believe that's noteworthy. What was it?

I believe that mixing vodka and energy drinks is the pastime of philistines, and degrades the nobility of the cocktail.

Just something in the 'Ask James Jacobs' thread that made me feel better. It has been a hard week all around.

I believe it's a detriment when other people know you're lawful. Then they feel they can use you as a sounding board for all their problems and then turn around and ask me not to say anything. And like any lawful individual I'll do it, I'll keep their secrets and give them advice and then have a bad week because it gnaws on you when you can't say anything, yanno? I mean, I've got the wisdom score to give advice like this but sometimes I really need to talk to someone to know for sure that the advice I give is good. And I can't.

I believe that you should then try and throw temporary chaos into the mix. I know I am bad at it. It does at times help.

I believe knowing when to break the rules is a source of great wisdom.

What advice do you think I give? Sometimes the advice I give is all about bucking law and morality to do what needs to be done, like escaping spousal abuse or getting one's kids back. And what are you gonna do, leave someone in a situation like that?

I'm lawful evil so when people come to me for advice it's rarely Good things. I've been a go-to rakshasa for intelligent Evil advice for a very long time. It's just that sometimes you really can know too much.

Regardless, I believe I'll still be giving advice.

Given that source of internal pressure, I believe you might have rules that need breaking, before those rules break you.

Or not. Your life, your choices. Something must consume us, eventually. We believe in things so that we get to choose what that devourer is.

I believe you're doing an excellent, careful job. Seriously, nothing but mad props from this corner. Other people's secrets is a heavy burden to bear.

I'll drink to that.
