Hello,
I was recently playing a lvl 3 rogue poisoner and while killing one of my teamates the arguement came up that a poisoner who automatically gets master poisoner is still able to poison himself with inhaled poison because the book states " cannot accidentally poison himself when applying poison to a blade" i was wondering who was right and did i deserve that 2d12 poison damage.

Poison immunity is something different than not screwing up when applying the poison.
Unless you had poison immunity, you should've taken the damage.

If the poison is inhaled it can not be applied to a blade. The ability to apply poison to a blade only means you don't poison yourself in the process of doing that particular action. It does not mean you can stand in poisonous gas and have no ill effects. You could have safely thrown the vial at the teammate from range, but you can't throw it down at your own feet and expect nothing to happen.
