Howdy all,
For various reasons, I have never been involved in any organized RPG play and am now really eager to get started in the Pathfinder Society.
I understand that I have to start with a 1st level character but there seem to be two types of events I can play in run by Paizo. The first is either a 1-5 scenario and the other is a 1st level only called something like "First Steps".
Is the first step event an official PFS event or just a an introductory demo type thing?
Any help you can provide would be appreciated...

First Steps are a three-part set of linked intro adventures created specifically for people either new to Pathfinder Society Organized Play or old veterans starting out new PCs. They're designed to be played in order by brand new 1st level PCs. By the time you finish, you'll have reached level 2 and be a bit more sturdy before you venture into more dangerous tiered adventures. And they'll introduce you to the prominent locations, people, and types of adventures you're likely to see in your PCs' full career.
