Weight Encoumbrance

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

What happens if a PC is lugging more than his Heavy Load?

For example if your heavy load is 100 - 150 lbs., and your at 149 lbs., you would be at max DEX +1 and check penalty of -6(?). What happens when they hit 151 lbs.? Is there any further penalties?

See PRPG p. 169 - Lifting and Dragging

In your example the character would lose any Dex bonus to AC and would only be able to move 5' as a full-round action

Liberty's Edge

I've read that part (and I'm sure it's there), but I can't find anything that talks about weight encumbrance above Heavy Load.

PRPG p. 169 wrote:

Lifting and Dragging: A character can lift as much as

his maximum load over his head. A character’s maximum
load is the highest amount of weight listed for a character’s
Strength in the heavy load column of Table 7–4.
A character can lift as much as double his maximum
load off the ground, but he or she can only stagger around
with it. While overloaded in this way, the character loses
any Dexterity bonus to AC and can move only 5 feet per
round (as a full-round action)
.
A character can generally push or drag along the
ground as much as five times his maximum load.
Favorable conditions can double these numbers, and bad
circumstances can reduce them by half or more.

The italized section is what applies in the situation you describe.

Thank you, that's exactly what I need. Thanks again.
