I think caps should be thrown out entirely.
T Rexs are not limited in hit points and damage doable to what a character can achive. The Terrask is even moreso. Spells should not be capped at 9th level. Since game worlds were created with 10th and higher level spells, there should be some serious fallout from casting epic level spells.
uhhh, caps would apply to everything: T-rex, terrask (tarrasque?), this would mean a re-write of stats all around, not just for PCs.
I don't think you understand what I am advocating so I will stop responding to your posts going forward but spells are already capped at a 9th level of power?
So I don't understand what you are talking about - at all. There are no rules for 10th or 11th level world creating spells in PFRPG.....and in any case that has nothing to do what I posted.
Ok.....

I basicly said I would want the rules changed in the opposite direction from what you suggested. If you don't want to respond to my posts, fine.
If Pathfinder makes a book like Unearth Arcana, maybe they could put both kinds of rule options in it. I found partial caps like in epic, to be confusing, frustrating, and akin to making gamers learn a whole new game at a certain level. That's why I never got back to playing my epic 3.5 characters.
At least your idea of limiting everyone to a certain number of max hit dice is simple. I wouldn't want to play that, but that's my choice.
