Im Dming a game soon and one of my players wishes to play an oracle, she wants to play one based off the prophet Cassandra that i guess was cursed so that nobody believed her prophecies, how do you guys think I should go about statting her custom curse out? Which is basically just nobody believes her.
I would say people don't believe her and or dismiss the things she says. Giving her a penalty to any social interactions where the truth would matter at all. Just thinking out loud.
Taken further, start with people automatically failing sense motives in regards to her telling the truth, so that she's automatically reacted to as though blatantly lying, with the gradual growth leading to gaining improved sense motive herself to determine how to say things that would persuade without being necessarily deceitful or duplicitous. The capstone might be something to the effect of extremely effective reverse psychology.
